They may believe that a girl’s place is in the home, helping her mother take care of the family, and therefore keep girls at home, believing schools won’t help a girl take care of the family.

My Personal Halloween nally, some girls don’t go to school because there are no schools in their area. According to Camfed, Girls’ schools educate girls to become global changemakers —the women we need to help solve the world’s biggest challenges.

Creating schools for girls is a necessary plan if girls like Malala are to have safe and have well-equipped learning environments. According to the Malala.org website which funds the Malala fund to support worldwide schools for girls, many girls living in places that are war-torn or those in refugee camps are unable to attend school. The parents in these areas feel that the schools are unsafe or of poor quality and therefore a waste of time. The lack of school facilities further supports the need for school facilities around the world which creates a need for funding and volunteers to work to create these places of learning.

Get Involved There are many ways that people actively try to deny girls an education. One way is political. If a particular political party takes power, they can create rules and laws that forbid girls from attending

Romania Traditions

By Leighton England Romania Romania is a country located in between Central and Southeastern Europe. It has a coastline on the Black Sea and borders Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, and Ukraine. Romania has mountain ranges running from the north and west which are known as the Carpathians.

In doing this they keep away poltergeists, werewolves, ghosts and evil spirits and bring luck and wealth instead. Some celebrate the occasion by guarding the garlic. During this tradition the oldest woman in the house guards the garlic under candlelight. At dusk the young people take the pot and dance around it then split it amongst themselves this becomes a sacred symbol that protects the family from spells.

My Halloween Every Halloween is the same.

Every year I get candy and it gets better than the year before.

Before this is the best, some years me, my mom, and brother go pick out pumpkins. A day or two before we carve them. It's time I get to spend doing something fun with my family. I love choosing what face or animal to cut out of the pumpkin.

My least favorite part is all the pumpkin guts they should stay inside the pumpkin.

Celebration Romanians celebrate this day on November 30th. The celebration is called St. Andrews Day. This is the only celebration that is celebrated in Romania.

On the day of Halloween my mom always takes pictures of me and my brother. Then she takes us from door to door getting candy. My dad usually brings another bag for the candy we can’t hold. After hours of walking me and my brother dump out our candy on the dining room floor and trade candy. Halloween is one of the best holidays ever.

In Mexico people usually celebrate their halloween (Day of The Dead) around November 2nd; Children dress up around that time. In Mexico Christmas is earlier in the US, in Mexico, Christmas is celebrated on December 16th

I do not have experience of Halloween at all due to my religion. Halloween to me is a holiday that pagan I do not celebrate, but me and my family do

In the country of Cuba, a Caribbean island country celebrates the holiday of Día de los Fieles Difuntos, this means All Souls Day.

On All Souls Day the citizens of Cuba go to the graves of their dead relatives, this begins on November 1st through the 2nd.

There they polish the graves and put the favorite foods of the dead to the graves, they also put flowers and wine too. The Legend of La Milagrosa The citizens also go to the graveyard of Colon, Havana, Havana is the capital of Cuba. Their the citizens go to try and get the blessing of La Milagrosa, in order to do so they must touch her grave.
