An Introduction to Halal Food There is a lot of growth in the consumer market of Muslims. Following this, the need for understanding the terms of services and conditions is also getting increased. Understanding such terms and concepts will help the people to understand in a better way possible. The terms begin with the word Halal.

What is Halal? Halal is an Arabic word that means permissible. Particularly in Islamic terms, halal means permission to certain acts and things according to Islam’s rules. Most frequently, the terms get referred to the food. However, it also includes some other actions permissible in Islam. The Muslims take consideration of the things they are eating and doing as Islam does not allow from certain food and actions. The Haram that is non-halal is the things that are unlawful under Islamic teachings.

What is Halal Food? All the food allowed to eat in the teachings of Islam is Halal food. It includes all the food that does not come under the list of forbidden or Haram food. It does not mean that Islam has most of the things Haram. No, the only things mentioned in the Holy Book, Quran, are forbidden, and those are very few. Muslims all over the world believe that Quran is the book that leads to perfect direction. Following this, they don’t intake any kind of forbidden food and only consume halal food allowed by Allah. 

Zabihah:

This is the Islamic method of slaughtering an animal. For Muslims, animal slaughter and its consumption is the purest form of food.

 Tayyib Food: Literally, the translation of Tayyib is clean and wholesome. Often, it is a term used by the Muslims for referring to the food of higher quality is purity that could be organic or utmost healthy food. Simply, it is a food that is Halal, natural, and eco-friendly. Dates are the perfect example of Tayyib food.

 Halal Meat: There are minor differences when the point comes to the laws for eating meat. Certain animals are Halal in Islam. All the seafood is halal alongside the herbivorous land animals halal after getting slaughtered with the following Islamic rulings or Zabihah.
