WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST (In Alphabetical Order)

JULIANA BEITLER (Oompa Loompa) is a sophomore at South Brunswick High School and is excited to be in her third show with Pirandello. She has been in a total of nine shows, some of them being Legally Blonde (Ensemble), Little Mermaid (Flotsam), Chicago (Ensemble) and more. She would like to thank Mr. A, Mrs. Trader, and Mrs. Bufis for putting together this show; it wouldn’t be possible without you guys. To the cast and crew, keep up the great work.

ABBY BUFIS (Veruca Salt) is a Senior at SBHS and is so excited to be part of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the Pirandello Players family. Some of Abby’s past roles include “Gwendolyn” understudy in A Murderer Among Us, “Rodrigo II” in Little Women, “Juror 11” in 12 Angry Jurors, “Grandma Addams” in The Addams Family, “Cheshire Cat” in Alice in Wonderland and “Mama Morton” in Chicago. When she isn't on stage, Abby spends her time painting and singing along to her favorite show tunes. Abby would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, Mother Buf and the rest of the amazing cast and crew for making this show the best it could be. To the wonderful cast, break a leg!

LILY BYNOE (Mrs. Beauregarde) is a senior at SBHS and is excited to perform in her sixth Pirandello show. Her past roles include “Ensemble” from Chicago, “Gryphon” from Alice in Wonderland, “Ancestor” from The Addams Family, and understudy roles for Twelve Angry Jurors, and A Murderer Among us. When Lily is not performing for Pirandello, she dances competitively at Dancin’ on the Edge. Lily would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for their hard work to make our show great. Break a leg cast and crew!

SPENCER CAPES (Charlie Bucket) Is a freshman at SBHS, and is very excited to be performing in his very first Pirandello show. His past roles include “Evan Goldman” in 13, “Jack Kelly” in Newsies, “Cinderella’s Prince” in Into the Woods, and “The Beast” in Beauty and The Beast. When Spencer is not onstage, he loves spending time with friends and family, playing trombone in band, or cuddling with his cats and dogs. He would like to give a huge thanks to Mr. A, Mrs. Bufis, and Mrs. Trader.

He also wants to thank his family for supporting him no matter what, and keeping up with his crazy rehearsal schedules, especially his big sister Autumn. Thank you, and good luck!

MCKENNA CAFFREY (Mrs. Gloop) is a sophomore at SBHS and is very excited to be performing in her 3rd show with Pirandello Players! Some of McKenna’s previous roles include “Courtier” in Alice in Wonderland, “Hunyak” in Chicago: Teen Edition, “Mrs. Potts” in Beauty and the Beast Jr., and “Kendra” in 13! The Musical Jr., as well as many other roles! When McKenna isn’t on stage, she is hanging out with friends, singing/dancing or watching Netflix! She would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. Aranzulla and Mrs. Bufis for giving her the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful cast. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work and commitment to this show! She wants to finally thank her friends and family for supporting her through everything!! Love you all, break legs everyone!!

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST CATHERINE HERNANDEZ (Narrator) is a senior at SBHS. This is her 5th Pirandello show, including Chicago (Kitty), Alice in Wonderland (Mock Turtle), Addams Family (Ancestor) and 12 Angry Jurors (Juror 11 understudy). She would like to say thank you to Mrs Trader, Mr A, and Mrs Bufis as well as the cast for making this a wonderful show!

TOBY KALET (Mr. Teavee) is a high school senior, and this is his fourth show with Pirandello Players! Toby’s previous roles in Pirandello include “Amos Hart” in Chicago, the “King Of Hearts” in Alice In Wonderland, and the “Grim Reaper” as well as the “Titanic Ancestor” in Addams Family.

When not plaguing the stage with his presence, Toby likes to sing, do all sorts of art, and plague his family with his presence instead. He thanks his family for their endless support, and Mrs. Trader, Mr. Aranzulla, Mrs. Bufis and Jordyn Sava for creating this beautiful, wacky, complete hullabaloo of a show! Good luck to all the cast and crew!

SEHER KAUR (Grandma Josephine/Oompa Loompa) is a sophomore at SBHS, and is delighted to be performing in her second Pirandello show. In last year’s musical production of Chicago, she played the role of “Judge”. Off-stage, she is heavily invested in both art and music, and enjoys a good book to pass time. She would like to thank her family for their support as well as Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for the hard work they have poured into this show to make it as fabulous as it is.

NINA LAHET (Mike Teavee) is a South Brunswick senior and is excited to be in her seventh show with the Pirandello Players. Her past roles are as follows: “MC” in Chicago, "Humpty Dumpty" in Alice in Wonderland, "Cousin Itt" in The Addams Family, "Juror 3" in Twelve Angry Jurors, and ensemble in Little Women and A Murderer Among Us. When not on stage, Nina likes to play board games, read murder mystery novels, and snuggle her two cats. She would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for their hard work in making this show possible. She'd also like to thank her family for their love and support, and all of the cast and crew for their passion and dedication. Thank you, and break a leg!

KENDALL LEMMERLING (Oompa Loompa) is thrilled to be a part of this incredible production. She has participated in many other shows, such as Mean Girls Jr. “Cady Heron”, High School Musical Jr. “Taylor Mckessie”, Newsies Jr. “Murial”, The Addams Family “Ancestor Saloon Girl”, The Wizard of Oz Jr. “Witch Number Three”, and many more. Her entire life revolves around theater, and she aspires to be a Broadway performer. She is ecstatic to be a part of Pirendello and is so happy to be working with so many talented people. She thanks Pirendello Players for welcoming her into their family and hopes you enjoy this incredibly sweet production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST CHARLENE LIEBERMAN (Grandma Georgina) is a sophomore at SBHS and is excited for her third show with Pirandello! Some of her past roles include “Ancestor” in The Addams Family, “Annie (six)” in Chicago!, “Yellow Flower” in Alice in Wonderland, and “Patrice” in 13! The Musical. She says a huge thank you to all of the cast and crew, and also to Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for making this show happen. She hopes everyone, especially the grandparents in the audience, enjoys the show!

SHASHANK MANICKA (Mr. Bucket) is a Freshman at SBHS and is very excited to be a part of his first show with The Pirandello Players. His past roles in NJRT’s and XRDS’s productions have included “Eddie” from 13 the Musical, “Scarecrow” from The Wizard of Oz, “Davey'' in Newsies, and “Ryan” in High School Musical. Some other things Shashank enjoys doing are playing the drumset and piano, playing volleyball, and drawing cartoons and digital art! He would like to thank Mr. A, Mrs. Trader, and Mrs. Bufis for all their hard work, welcoming him with open arms, and making such an amazing show! Along with that he also wants to thank his family for the endless love and support they give, his cast and crew friends for all the great memories they've made together, and everyone who came out to support us!

GABBY MILLA (Mr. Salt) is an SBHS Senior and she is excited to perform her fourth show with the Pirandello Players. Her previous roles in Pirandello have included: “Clerk” in Twelve Angry Jurors, “Ensemble” in The Addams Family, and the “Chef” in Alice in Wonderland. Outside of Pirandello, Gabby likes to go skateboarding at the local park, writing late at night, and baking desserts for her family. She would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for being amazing directors throughout the show process. She would also like to thank the rest of the cast for working so hard to make all the show nights amazing. Break a leg!

AMANDA MONKOWSKI ( Mrs. Teavee) is a SBHS freshman and is super excited to be performing in her first pirandello show! Some of her past roles include, “Kelsi Neilson” in Disney’s High School Musical, “Wendy” in Peter Pan Jr., “Henrietta” in Honk!, and “Helen” in Bye Bye Birdie.Offstage, Amanda enjoys spending her time playing video games, talking with friends, playing with her two dogs, listening to music, and spending time with her sister. She’d like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mrs. Bufis, Mr. A, the cast, and crew for making this show the best it could possibly be!

TANVI PATIL (Mrs. Salt) is an SBHS junior and is excited to return to her fifth show with Pirandello Players! Some of her past roles include “Mad Hatter” in Alice in Wonderland, the ensemble in Chicago, “Thing” in The Addams Family, and “Juror 10” understudy for 12 Angry Jurors. When not on stage, Tanvi enjoys being with her friends and her dog Tara, drawing, making ramen, and reading.

She is grateful for and would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. Aranzulla, Mrs. Bufis, and the crew for all their fantastic dedication and patience they put into this show! She’d also like to thank her family and friends for supporting her in her passions!

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST ANGELINA ROMANO (Willy Wonka) is a senior at SBHS who is very proud to be acting in her seventh show with the Pirandello Players. Some of her past roles include “MC” in Chicago, “Tweedle-Dee” in Alice in Wonderland, “Mrs. Kirk” in Little Women, “Juror 2” in 12 Angry Jurors, and more. In her free time, she is usually found at the gym, watching a new show, or bothering her dog Shelby. Angelina would like to thank Mrs. Bufis and the crew for all of their hard work bringing this show alive along with Mr. A and Mrs. Trader for their guidance throughout the entire process. Lastly, she would like to thank the cast that made this show so fun and made rehearsals something she looked forward to everyday. To the entire cast and crew: BREAK A LEG!!!

ADIENYS RUIZ is an SBHS freshman and is excited to perform in her first Pirandello show! Her past roles from outside theater programs include “ensemble” in 13, “Silly Girl” in Beauty and the Beast, “ensemble” in Into the Woods, “Glinda” in The Wizard of Oz, “Mrs. Medda” in Newsies, and “Ensemble” in The Adams Family. When not on stage, Adienys likes to watch Movies, Go shopping, and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for their hard work in making this show and all her Future shows come to life. She wants to thank her family for their love, support, and Time. She would also like to thank the cast, and crew for their passion and dedication to this show. Thank you, and break a leg!

RYAN SANTORO (Grandpa Joe) is a sophomore at SBHS performing in his third Pirendello show!

His past Pirendello roles are “The Executioner” in Alice in Wonderland, and “Fred Casely '' in Chicago. He wants to thank Mrs. Trader and Mr. A for their excellent directing and Mrs. Bufis for the beautiful set pieces. Ryan is also extremely grateful to have all his wonderful friends at Pirandello and is very glad to be part of the Pirendello family. He will most definitely be breaking a leg.

EMMA SAVA (Augustus Gloop)is a Sophomore at SBHS and is excited to be a part of her 3rd Pirandello performance! Emma has been doing community theatre and school performances since she was 5 years old! Some of her most recent roles include: Mona in Chicago, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Little Red in Into the Woods, and Lucy in 13! The Musical. Emma is a member of the SBHS Concert choir and loves doing gymnastics. Emma wants to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, Mrs. Bufis, and the entire cast and crew for their hard work and support! A special shout out to her amazing sister and choreographer, Jordyn!

SOPHIA SCHWARZ (Mrs. Bucket/Oompa Loompa) is a sophomore at South Brunswick High School and is excited to be in her third show with Pirandello Players. Some of her past roles include “Ensemble” in Chicago, “Dormouse” in Alice in Wonderland, “Cinderella” in Into the Woods, and “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast. Sophia is extremely thankful to be a part of the Pirandello Players family and the whole experience has been amazing for her. She wants to acknowledge Mrs. Trader, Mr. Aranzulla, Mrs. Bufis, Jordyn, crew, and the cast for making this show possible! She would also like to give a special thanks to her family and friends for always supporting and helping her with everything she does! To all of the cast and crew, BREAK A LEG!!

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST JANNAH SHAKIR (Oompa Loompa) is a sophomore at SBHS and is excited to be in her very first show with Pirandello. She has been in the musicals Dear Edwina Jr. as “Annie” and 13 the Musical as “Ensemble”. She also currently takes classes in theatre at SBHS. During her down time, Jannah enjoys being at home watching shows, reading, and hanging out with her cousins. She’d like to thank Mrs.Trader, Mr.A, Mrs. Bufis, and the amazing cast and crew for making her first Pirandello experience a good one. She’d also like to thank her family for sticking with her no matter what role or what show she may be in.

BRIANNA SIMS (Oompa Loompa) is an SBHS freshman and is overjoyed to perform in her first Pirandello show. This is Brianna’s first time acting in a show, as she’s danced for the majority of her life. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys dancing, reading fantasy thriller novels, and playing video games. She would very much like to thank Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for giving her a chance to be a part of the cast for Charlie & The Chocolate Factory and for making such a great and entertaining show. Additionally, she’d like to thank her family and friends for supporting her along with the cast and crew. Thanks, and break a leg!

ASHLEY SOLTYS (Oompa Loompa) is a freshman at SBHS and is enthusiastic to be a part of her first show with Pirandello Players! Her past roles with New Jersey Repertory Theater include “Kelsi” in High School Musical, “Bunsen” in Newsies, and “The Narrator” in Into the Woods. When offstage, Ashley is most likely annotating her assigned reading books or playing and losing at card games with her friends. She would like to give a huge thanks to Mrs. Trader, Mr. A, and Mrs. Bufis for everything they have done to make Charlie and the Chocolate Factory possible. To the cast and crew, break a leg!

ALYSSA UCCI (VIOLET) Is a Junior at SBHS and is so excited to be a part of her 5th Pirandello show. A few favorite past Pirandello roles include “Juror 7” (12 Angry Jurors) “June” (Chicago) and "Tweedledum” (Alice in Wonderland). Over the summer, Alyssa performed in the Paper Mill Playhouse New Voices Concert, and also attended Broadway Evolved in NYC! Some other favorite past roles include “Morticia” (The Addams Family) “Rusty” (Footloose) “Ursula” (The Little Mermaid Jr) and “Evie” (Descendants). Alyssa would like to thank Jordyn, Mrs. Bufis, Mr. A, Mrs. Trader and the amazing cast and crew for their endless hard work, this show would not be possible without them!! Alyssa would also like to thank her family for all of their support in her passion for Theatre.

HANNAH VIRTUDAZO (Oompa Loompa) is a freshman at SBHS and can’t wait for her first show with Pirandello! Some of her past roles include “Gabriella” in High School Musical, “Katherine” in Newsies, “Wicked Witch of the West” in The Wizard of Oz, and “Kendra” in 13! The Musical. Offstage, Hannah loves watching movies and hanging out with friends. Her biggest thanks goes to the amazing cast, crew, and directors, Mrs. Trader, Mrs. Bufis, and Mr. A. Enjoy!
