STAGE ONE: EGG

The first stage of a caterpillar's life cycle is the egg.The caterpillar looks like a worm.

To grow the caterpillar eats leaves.Caterpillar's could be in many colors and many different patterns.

STAGE TWO: HATCHING

When the caterpillar hatches it eats the egg shell where it hatched.Then the caterpillar finds leaves to eat so it can grow.Then the caterpillar does that every single day.One day the caterpillar molts it's skin a few times as it grows.It will sometimes eat it's own skin.

STAGE THREE: CHRYSALIS The caterpillar is not fully grown yet it looks for a resting place.
