COMPANY OVERVIEW We are a job shop with CNC and conventional capabilities with 40-plus years' experience.

With over 60,000 sq. ft. of floor space, we specialize in the manufacturing of consumable spare parts for all types of industry.

These industries include, but are not limited to: kaolin mines, paper mills, manufacturers of various products like YKK, and many others. These spare parts are often made at a much lower price than the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part. Elliott Machine Shop provides a much faster turnaround.

We offer large capacity 4-axis CNC milling and turning as well as conventional machining up to 16’ in diameter. A large portion of our work involves the repair and/or modifying of processing equipment for all kinds of industry. In short, we act as an emergency room for industry. We understand what it means when production is not running for your business and do what is necessary to get you back up and operating ASAP.

HISTORY Elliott Machine Shop was founded in 1975.

In 2007, we started an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and are proud to say that EMS is now 100% employee-owned.

Our ESOP has changed the culture of our company for the better. As owners, our employees are all in: they step up and take responsibility, and we all reap the rewards. The extra level of commitment is a very powerful piece of added value.

The founding owners, A.V. and Stanley Elliott, were not interested in just selling the business and walking away. They wanted to assure continued employment for those important skilled employees. The ESOP gave us a way to allow our working employees to personally benefit from our growth and profitability.

Elliott Machine Shop began serving Middle Georgia industry in the early ‘70s with only 5 employees in a 4,000 sq. ft. building. Presently, our shop covers over 60,000 sq. ft. with over 80 employees. The kaolin industry was Elliott Machine’s first market. New equipment has been added on a regular basis, as well as additional floor space. Many valuable employees were also added on a regular basis to keep up with new customers' needs.

ABILITIES With our knowledge and experience in the machining industry, we have the ability to offer our customers solutions for a wide range of industrial challenges. Whether you’re looking for equipment manufacturing, parts production, or repair work, we can service your needs.

CNC and Conventional Machining

In addition to conventional machining of up to 16’ in diameter, we also have large 4-axis CNC turning and milling capabilities to accommodate your needs.

Consumable/Spare Parts

We offer a competitive alternative to costly OEM spare parts. These parts are often less expensive and have quicker turnaround times without compromising quality.

Fabrication: CNC and Manual Cutting

In regards to fabrication, we offer CNC water jetting with a work envelope of 5’ X 10’ as well as a CNC plasma and oxy-fuel torch with a capacity of 12’ X 20’. We have the capability to shear 1/2” steel plate and 3/8” stainless X up to 10’ in length. Large plate rolling is also available.

Field Machining

Oftentimes, our customers' parts are too large to transport to our shop for repair. As a result, we go to the part. We offer turning, boring, milling, facing, drilling & tapping, and grinding on-site for jobs that are too large and/or too costly to move.

Field Maintenance

Some companies find an advantage in letting Elliott Machine come onsite to handle and perform maintenance duties at their facilities, both with preventive and unplanned obstacles of all kinds.

Balancing

We offer in-house as well as on-site balancing for all types of equipment, such as fans, blowers, pumps, mixers, grinders, and atomizers 24/7.

CAD & CAM Design

Custom design and modifying of various parts and assemblies are performed with the aid of the latest version of AutoCad for drawings, as well as the latest version of MasterCam for manufacturing.
