OK Go Toast to New Video for 'Last Leaf'

For OK Go's new music video for "Last Leaf," they've taken a different approach from their usual M.O. of skillfully done choreography and decided to use hundreds of pieces of toast to portray the song's imagery. The video for "Last Leaf" premiered today (Nov. 9) on and MySpace's homepage and the band's website. Similar to the OK Go's famous treadmill video for "Here It Goes Again," which now has more than 53 million views on YouTube, the "Last Leaf" video involves a ton of tedious work. The team behind the clip took 15 photos to create every second of the video's animation. On pieces of toast, images of autumn settings and illustrations that look straight out of a children's book float by. Acoustic guitars spring up like trees from the ground, capturing Damian Kulash's lyric, "And if you should be the last seed in spring to venture forth a leaf." "Last Leaf," off the album "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky," is a nice change of pace from the band's other work, showing that OK Go is not a one-trick pony when it comes to making interesting music videos. Who's hungry?
