Mr. North is moved by the passion for design, settling a bridge between the past and future.

Its name is an allusion to the joiners of the furniture’s industry, also representing the portuguese northern identity, where the wood work is predominant.

The brand collection results in an eclectic combination of furniture characterised by simple and attractive shapes with an incomparable quality, combining traditional materials and innovative techniques which defy space and time.

Designers Clémentine Caurier

Jonas Lyndby Jensen

Clémentine is a french designer passionate about materials and technical know-how. Beside her work in furniture and light fields, she also experiments ceramic in order to use it in her future projects.

Jonas Lyndby Jensen is a qualified cabinet maker who is interested in materials and style of Nordic origin.

She’s always curious to discover a new field and create new collaborations. Clémentine has finished her degree in 2009 in Nantes (France), having working then for different design studios in Berlin. Her professional experience gave her the chance to work for Vertigo Bird, Normann Copenhagen, Zero, Prostoria, ic!berlin, Mater and Scantex.

The products by Jonas may be recognized by its classical Scandinavian reference but still with the modern twist to it.

Jonas has already won several awards for his furniture designs.

Dune, for Skandiform, is his first item to go into mass production.

Giacomo Cattani Studio Sagitair

Paulo Neves Studio Gud

After finishing his studies, Giacomo Cattani began his professional life as a freelancer interior architect, but his passion for interior design made that in 1990, together with some classmates, they founded Studio Sagitair. With experience in various jobs in different sectors, he developed a multidisciplinary approach and a particular style, that always following the trends, attributes to his work a unique organic.

Gud seeks for beauty in the truth of shapes, creating objects that aim to speak through our culture and memories. With great attention to detail, we try to take the best from the materials.

Javier Gomez

Sascha Sartory

Javier is a Panama native. He studied Photography and Advancement of Science and Art in USA. He finds his aesthetic in nature, cityscapes and in the architectural details of megacities. Between abstraction and surrealism, his designs streamline the saturation of colors and patterns to make universal, cohesive wholes. We can found his works in the collections of personalities such as Hilary Swank, Bill Clinton, Pele, Colin Cowie and Dr. Phil.

With the goal to create long-lasting, high quality products for individual living, industrial designer Sascha Sartory develops new product solutions in his design studio in Cologne, Germany.

After his studies in product and industrial design at the University of Applied Science Aachen and University Wuppertal he worked for different design agencies where he learned how to combine the latest technologies, trends and materials to create new and innovative consumer products. Since 2009 he works as an independent designer. With the with industrial designer Sebastian Hoek, he co-founded FORMFUSION Produktdesign team.

In 2016, has launched a carpet and furniture collection, which gave him the title of Maison & Objet rising talent.

In 2009, Jonas Lyndby Jensen graduated from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen with a major in furniture design.

He has already participated at several Scandinavian exhibitions.

Gud was founded by the designers Alexandre Kumagai and Paulo Neves, a collective based in Porto – Portugal. In 2010, the gud idea began to take shape and both decided it was time to carry out this collective project, offering interior and product design services. Since 2016, the studio is run by Paulo Neves.
