Do you enjoy playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons™? Come hang out with us! This program is intended for teens and adults, but children are welcome to visit with help from a parent. Users must have a Nintendo Switch™ console and version of the game (with Nintendo™ online membership) to play. A Dodo code will be e-mailed 15 minutes before each session’s start time. Bendix Woods County Parks Presents: Insect Investigation Thursday, April 8 10:30-11:15 am | Children (Ages 3-11)

Insects help grow our food, clean up our trash, and serve as snacks for many of our furry and feathery friends! Let’s explore their world! Discover how cicadas make noise (they have built-in drums) and how butterflies eat (they have built-in straws). Find out what makes up an insect’s body (did you know that most insects have four wings?) and how they use each body part to be expert survivors. Join a St. Joseph County Park naturalist for games, stories, experiments, and demonstrations that will introduce you to your many fascinating creepy-crawly insect neighbors. Parents and students will learn strategies for lowering their EFC (Expected Family Contribution), and tips for optimizing college admissions and scholarships.
