The highly anticipated Grand Final replay between Somerville and Seaford had to wait until Round 17 to takeplace.

After some drizzle in the morning, the courts were bone dry with sun shining for the first whistle. The Eagles were pumped up and ready for the challenge at home. Tayla Sharp was best on court for her side in GD as Somerville executed some amazing passages of play that really demonstratedtheirabilitytomovetheballquicklyin transitionfromend-to-end.Withallavailableplayers used on court and players to return from injury, the Eagles were not at full strength for this match but stillfinishedwitha20-goalwin.

In the final home and away matches, Somerville will take on Rye and Seaford play against Pearcedale, a teamwhoneedstowintobethe5thteaminfinals.
