Prospective buyers at the Anfield development have been able to take advantage of the HomeBuy Direct scheme. The initiative provides an interest-free loan of up to 30 per cent of the property value for the first five years and then the interest on the loan is capped for up to 20 more years, allowing qualifying buyers to own 100 per cent of the property, with what amounts to a 30 per cent deposit. Since March, over a fifth of the reservations for the development have been made through the HomeBuy Direct
