Ms Day always walks around the school with a smile on her face and is always willing to have a chat about pretty much anything. She is such a caring teacher and even after a long week at school she loves to listen to my stories every Friday afternoon
Miss C is always a happy and trusted staff member to go to. She makes her music classes a positive and safe environment to learn in. Miss C has expended my passion for music even bigger and taught me new and helpful things. One of the things Miss C shows is the college value of respect as she respects everyone's abilities and opinions for music.

Mrs Trish Scherer Miss Scherer always supports us. She is patient and understanding when I need help. Miss Scherer goes out of her way to be kind all the time!
We had a pear shape start to the year, Grade 12. Ms Pacey moved heaven & earth to make sure our Grade 12 Daughter stayed afloat. Katie answered every email rang us checked in on our daughter, offered to walk her to class, offered to help with homework. With out the caring hand of Ms Pacey I’m not sure if we would of survived. We are forever grateful. Thank you!

Throughout the last two years, Ms Everard has always been a massive influence on myself in my pursuit of mathematics in later years. She is the one who motivated me to believe I can be more than what I believe I were at that moment. Ms Everard is an amazing educator who always makes me and my classmates smile. She lights up a room and makes me excited for maths again.
Mrs Scherer is always so helpful and caring in class, and when passing her through the school. she always has a smile on her face and has the kindest and most positive attitude. its always refreshing to see her face if youre having a bad day.
Tonia Campbell Ms Kathryn Arenas Ms Arenas is very patient and supportive, and constantly helps me to gain a better understanding of any aspect of the content I may struggle with. She always goes above and beyond in assisting us in achieving our best results.
She has consistently been an amazing teacher throughout the year. She has helped increase my grades as well as increase my love for humanities it's now my favourite subject. She always has a smile and makes lessons interesting and fun, never overcomplicating things and makes sure we all understand. She always gives valuable feedback to help me achieve my best - she is an amazing teacher :)
Ms Longley My art teacher, Ms Longley is amazing. She always goes above and beyond in every way as a teacher both inside and outside the classroom, if it is to ensure her students understand all topics and techniques or to include everyone in all activities or class discussions. She is a very supportive, open, and welcoming person, not just to her students but to everyone, and she is able to read the room so well, knowing if we need a break or if we can push on further into our studies. Not only does she offer encouragment to push our limits and have faith in our abilities, but she also offers honest and effective feedback to both our written and practical works. I have been lucky enough to have Ms Longley as my art teacher for two years in a row and know that she is very loved by all her students. I look foward to my classes with her and even if I don't have a class with her that day, she always has a friendly smile and a warm converstation for us in the hallways. It is obvious to everyone that Ms Longley enjoys her job, cares about her students, our wellbeing and our success in all of our subjects, not just hers. This is clear through the way she always strikes up a conversation with each individual student nearly every lesson to check if they need help on their work, see how they are tracking in art and how their other subjects and their wellbeing is going. Through both her words and actions, Ms Longley is an exemplary teacher who goes above and beyond the Franciscan Values, especially modelling service, repect, joy and compassion.
Ms Licina For me, Ms Licina isn't just the Greccio head of house, but she's a person who can lend a helping hand and be that person you know you can talk to and trust. She has only been with the MTA community for 2023, however, its felt like she has been by my side since day 1, helping me through every step of my high school, helping me to become the best individual i can be and to not let others get to me. Although i don't like getting in trouble, i think he strict but calm words, teaching me right from wrong, has helped me a lot.
Justine Hawkins she always greets me in the hallways asks about my day and gives me advice when I need it thanks Miss Hawkins for making my day that little bit better whenever I feel overwhelmed or upset about something - Alyssa
Ms Flux Ms Flux is compassionate, giving and always trying to provide us with the support in SOR whether it be educational or personal. As all the students say in our class, she understands us and inspires us to be a better version of ourselves.

I would like to give a heartfelt shoutout to Mrs Baker-Smith, my science class teacher aide, who has made an massive difference in my life. Her passion for teaching and dedication to helping others truly inspiring, and i think the whole class would agree on that. Mrs Baker not only has great knowledge of everything she does, but also gives me a sense of love for learning. Her support and encouragement during class time has given me the confidence to ask for help whenever i'm stuck, and also given me opportunity for me to think of her as a trusted adult (which i do). I am and will be forever grateful for the long lasting impact Mrs Baker has had on my schooling life so far, and I will forever cherish the teachings and positive energy to the classroom ever science lesson. So with that being said, thank you, Mrs Baker, for being an incredible person who's always willing to help others and always putting others before yourself.
Sarah has always been supportive and caring during trainings. She deticates her time and effort of her days into helping us become better swimmers. She cares very much about buidling a strong team for the CASSSA swim carnival and leading our team to victory. She shows her commitment and detication to coaching and all the swim girls love to see her out coaching us with her happy, energetic and uplifting personality.
Ms Loveday she is the kindest most supportive person ever. she is also the best homeroom teacher and is always putting a smile on my face.

this staff member has helped me feel better and feel supported when it came to me having a tough time, both at home and in school. she has made me feel welcome on my first few days at mount A and she made me feel like my opinions and my voice is heard and they are valued. Ms Carney has been a great help; going out of her way to talk to me, make sure I'm ok and worrying about not just my school but also my general wellbeing. i know that she is a lovely teacher and person in general.

Mrs Barlow has been an amazing English, Religion and Personal best teacher for me. I have grown my love for these subject because of Mrs Barlow's positive spirits and commitment to our class.
Mrs Day always makes me enjoy legal class and makes it fun and easy to engage. Whenever I see Mrs Day at school she will always say hi and smile at me!
Courtney Daniec Ms. Daniec has a very warm heart and always makes everyone feel safe, comfortable, and happy. She is a great teacher and answers questions very clearly, she always has a smile on her face. She is an amazing AFL player and deserves this shout-out. I think we all appreciate Ms Daniec and all the work she does that goes noticed and unnoticed.
Tonia Campbell She's always gone above and beyond with the help I've asked for with my daughter. She always make you feel heard and I know she gives a lot of her extra time to the girls in her home room class.

This is my shout out to all of the heads of house here at Mt A. Firstly i want to say how much gratitude i have for each and every one of you. Although I'm only in one of your houses, i can see your dedication to teaching , the passion you have for helping students and your tireless efforts you bring through the gates each day. If you don't already know, you all make a HUGE impact on not only my life, but the lives of many others here at Mt A, and it has certainly not gone un-noticed. Thank you for the encouragement, the guidance and the knowledge you have given me, which has certainly not only helped me grow as an individual, but has also helped me grow academically. Without your tireless commitment for your students, many of us wouldn't have you guys as a source of inspo and wisdom in our every day lives. I'm not sure about everyone else, but your influence will no doubt leaving a long lasting impact on my high school journey and many more years to come.
Tamara has shown great intuition in regards to our daughter and has displayed exceptional interpersonal skills in her correspondence.
Tess Everard Has made an incredible impact on my daughters engagement and euthusiam in maths, offered support and help when needed and has had great communication throughout the year, she really goes above and beyond and it is greatly appreciated.

I have had Ms Longley as my art teacher since grade 9, and she has made art class something I look forward to each week. Ms Longley has has made an impact on my journey as an aspiring artist by supporting me during class and breaks, giving me thoughtful advice on projects and assignments and believing in my artworks when I have given up on them. She has shaped me into becoming a better artist and I truly appreciate everything she has done for me.

Kath Little Kath has gone over and above in the championing of the continuation of drama as a subject in years 11 and 12. This effort has been recognised by us as parents of a student who wants to explore this field of study beyond high school and we personally thank her. Kath has encouraged, supported and championed our daughter and we are so grateful for her. Thank you Kath from the bottom of our hearts.

Ms Day has made it fun and engaging for my daughter in Humanities this year. It’s a subject she doesn’t engage with but this year Ms Day has taken it one step further in developing a lovely bond between student and teacher.
Ms Richardson genuinely cares about the students. She notices when there is something wrong and takes the time to listen and help.
Sophie Harrison Chanel Humphries For bringing such positive and confident energy to the house and putting in lots of time and effort into improving Spoleto as much as possible. For being a motivational, fun, exciting teacher and leader of our house and making memories that will last forever.
Ms Harrison has dedicated her time to make her classes engaging for the students and yet successfully teach the curriculum in ways the students can understand and feel confident enough to participate in.

She makes me love going to food and nutrition and her teaching style is very effective and appreciate the efforts she has put into our class considering she took on our class after having 2 previous teachers. Miss Carney made a big impact on my daughter Amber Janas through her time as House Captain. Amber was supported and encouraged by Miss Carney but Amber was also allowed the space to be Amber and contribute in her own way. Miss Carney was available through her breaks and helped Amber make VS the best it could and walked a long side Amber watching her grow as a captain. Thank you Miss Carney

Sean has helped by providing clear and realistic progress guidance for my daughter. Some simple and practical areas to focus on that are not overwhelming and will build confidence. Alisa Ward and the student services team The staff members on the student services desk are professional and so caring in the way that they look after our students. They have a VERY busy role with lots of responsibilities and are front-facing all day, but always treat students and staff with respect and concern. They are truly Franciscan in all that they do.
