Swiss Heritage 1930 gründete Jacob Rohner in Balgach eine Sockenfabrik; das Schweizer Rheintal war zu dieser Zeit berühmt für seine Textilfabrikationen. Mit der Anschaffung von Rundstrickmaschinen, welche erst kürzlich erfunden wurden gelang es Strümpfe und Socken von höchster Qualität zu produzieren.
