October 5 Orchestra Pajama Concert (7:00 pm)

It has been a wonderful start to our school year. Staff and students are settling into their routines and a positive vibe is noticeable within the halls of Mounds View High School. Homecoming Week was also a huge success as our students and staff enjoyed a theme-filled week that concluded with a very well attended semi-formal dance.

October 6 NHS Induction Ceremony (6:30 pm) October 8 Conversation w/the Principal (6:00 pm) Communication Night (6:30-8:30 pm) October 9 NO SCHOOL – teacher workday October 10 Music at MV Concert Series Lake Wobegon Brass Band (7:00 pm) October 12 Picture Re-take Day (10:30-12:00 pm)

I have also had the wonderful opportunity to visit with each of the four grade level classes where we discussed the importance of school/life balance, respect for one another, and the legacy they wish to leave as proud graduates of Mounds View High School. As we progress through the month of October, I would like to invite and welcome each of you to attend events that involve our students and I would also encourage you to stay connected with our faculty as the school-to-home partnership is a significant key to every student’s academic and socio-emotional success.

October 13 Financial Planning Night (6:30 pm)

I thank you very much for your support and if there is anything I can do to assist you or your student(s), please do not hesitate to let me know.
