Community Education works in collaboration with community members and organizations to create lifelong learning opportunities that are responsive to community needs and enhance the quality of life in our evolving and diverse community. We invite all children, adults and families to take advantage of the community programs and educational opportunities the Mounds View Public Schools Community Education department has to offer. You’ll find a variety of classes, activities and programs designed to meet the needs of our community.

Early Childhood Education
Early Childhood Education provides high-quality educational opportunities for children from birth to five-years-old. Facilities Rental
Mounds View Public Schools encourages the use of school facilities by District residents. When not in use by one of our own Community Education or school-sponsored activities, our facilities are offered to other local groups and organizations. Use of our facilities includes Boy and Girl Scout meetings and events, park and recreation activities, resident group meetings, youth athletic activities and special events of all kinds. Youth, Adult & Family Enrichment & Activities Ralph Reeder Food Shelf and Meals on Wheels
Adult youth & Family Enrichment offers a variety of opportunities for all ages to pursue interests, expand abilities and improve social skills in an informal, friendly atmosphere for lifelong learning.

Adult Education Programs
Adult Education offers a variety of classes and programs meant to improve the education and quality of life for the citizens of our community. Classes include English as a Second Language, GED Preparation, High School Diploma classes and more. Classes are free and are held Monday through Thursday.
