Family Parks
The Emirate has many green spaces which are perfect for a happy day out with family and friends. All the parks have grass lawns, play areas, cafeterias as well as bike rental facilities. Some of the parks in Ajman are Al Jarf Public Garden, Al Hamediya Public Park and Al Rashidiya Park. For an uninhibited day out, ladies and children can head to Mushrief Park – a women’s only recreation space. All the parks are facilitated with shaded seating areas, free rides, dedicated barbecue areas, game courts, cycling tracks, mosques, restrooms a nd cafeterias.
Water Sports
Ajman’s clear and calm waters are perfect for many kinds of water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving and parasailing. Most beachside resorts will provide equipment and training for these. Ajman Kempinski (kempinski.com) and Ajman Beach (ajmanbeachhotel.com) hotels are the emirate’s most popular water sports providers.

Cricket
Cricket is the emirate’s favourite sport and under the aegis of the Ajman Cricket Council, there are 12 well-equipped cement and turf cricket grounds in the city, of which two are floodlit to allow night play. Located in Al Jarf, these grounds host many matches including the Asian Cricket Championship.
Beach Volleyball and Football

Bowling
Bowling is a popular pastime in the emirate. Both, Emirates Bowling Centre (06 742 1000) and Cosmic Bowling at the Kempinski (kempinski.com) have excellent facilities. Cosmic Bowling is a part of Kempinski’s Sport Bar and is open to guests above 21 years only.
Ajman Equestrian Club
The Equestrian Club sports state-of-the-facilities where highly skilled professionals offer training in show jumping, dressage and horse riding. Desert trips for five riders or more are also available. ajman-equclub.com

Camel Racing
Ajman’s Al Tallah Racetrack hosts some of the most exciting camel races in the winter months. All races are contested using robotic jockeys.
