VOLUNTEERS
The Championship enlisted the help of more than 450 volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Volunteers play an integral role in the Championship’s success, completing a variety of key tasks: marshalling, scoring, updating leaderboards, operating mobile scoreboards and controlling the fairway crossing points.
Volunteers come from all walks of life, which this year included volunteers from Emirati marshals and Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
A huge thank you goes to all those who volunteered their time to help deliver such an incredible event.
GREENKEEPERS
The Championship acknowledges the unsung heroes who curate and maintain one of the best golf courses in the country.
Cluster Director of Agronomy Clinton Southorn and his team of greenkeepers work tirelessly to ensure that both players and fans alike enjoy an action-packed week of golf.
