The good people of Motcombe have raised the bar to make this year’s Fête FABULOUSLY FANTASTIC.

Effort and energy from all corners of the village have come together.

We’ve had people making scarecrows, selling raffle tickets, baking cakes,

barbecuing, putting up tents, managing stalls, organising parking…. the shop, the pub, both churches, youth club, the hall committee and

trustees, the allotments, both schools, gardening club, the scouts, the WI, the Parish Council and more – everyone has been involved.

The Motcombe Village Fête welcomes everyone from surrounding

villages and towns and we are truly thankful for ALL THE LOCAL BUSINESS SUPPORTERS AND PEOPLE INVOLVED in making this Fête what it is today.

Speaking of speed... we have rounded up a selection of the finest racing snails this country has ever witnessed – blink and you may miss them! A highlight of the day.

Mere Falconry promises to put on an extraordinary display.

Their birds are always in tip-top condition and never fail to put on an agile, professional show.

Lastly our superb canine friends – don’t forget to enter your pooch in the Crufts show for the waggiest tail!
