Newsletter 2025

We're kicking off the new year with an exciting update on the real estate market in the Rangeley region. As the slopes at Saddleback are in full swing, the snowmobile trails are open, and winter temperatures have been consistently cold, the area has seen an uptick in winter visitors, and our team has been helping buyers and sellers start new chapters. Recently, we've seen a range of properties go under contract and come to close, including a charming camp on Russell Cove, two lodges condo units, a new spec home off Grandview Avenue, and a large ski chalet on Magalloway Loop up at Saddleback.
We’re seeing a variety of buyer preferences, particularly those listed below -
Homes with views
Close proximity to town
Private waterfront or shared water access
Ski-in/ski-out properties
We’re finding the most demand for properties with waterfront or expansive views, as well as any properties with short-term rental potential.
Our team has been enjoying hosting open houses on weekends, and we’re also available at the Saddleback Real Estate Center during weekends and vacation weeks. With events like Snodeo, the Pond Hockey Festival, and February vacation week on the horizon, we’re looking forward to an exciting and bustling month ahead.
Our office is open at our Main Street office 7 days a week from 9am - 4 pm. Feel free to stop by and chat with us about your real estate needs and goals! See you around town and on the slopes!
