The Communication Engine
SwyxDECT 800: Mobility within the organization The SwyxDECT 800 wireless solution allows your employees to remain within reach throughout the working day in the company. This offers much greater mobility especially to those who spend a large part of the working day away from their desk, such as staff in sales areas, extensive storerooms and manufacturing plants. The SwyxDECT 800 is also the ideal solution for locations where it is difficult to lay new cable or extend an existing cable network. Overview The SwyxDECT 800 solution unites the tried and tested DECT Standard with Voice-over-IP, thereby enabling the customer to make use of high-quality voice transmission in a network. In addition, the users benefit from the seamless call transfer between individual cells, which enables better scaling. The solution consists of the base station and a selection of possible DECT telephones: SwyxPhone D210 and SwyxPhone D310/311BT, which in conjunction with SwyxWare provide a wide range of telephony functions.
This includes not only the display of information about the caller number, but also support of secondary calls. An additional advantage of the SwyxDECT 800 solution is that the SwyxPhone D311BT can be connected over the Bluetooth interface to a wireless headset, thus leaving hands free during a call. Extensibility The system can be expanded with further stations. Given the appropriate configuration, a seamless handover between the stations is possible.
