The project is located in the nort of the city where is recognized as the financial sector. The project adjoins “La Carolina” park which is one of the most important and largest green areas of the city.
ACADEMIC PROJECT /Historical library and archive/
The project works from a central core that articulates two program bars, one that works as the public library and the other one, as the historical archive. It pretends to become an iconic element which is directed to the city.
“Movement” has been the guide adjective whoose the whole project was worked on, through the idea of an interactive and fun way of reading. The tour proposes continuity, in such a way that the user always finds a new place or book to explore.

The project is located in the parish “La concepción” in the nort of Quito.
The location used to be the international airport until its migration to the outside of the province. In consequence, the space was reused as the actual Bicenterario park which has become into one of the most important landmark in the city.
