On behalf of the Condominium & Owner Services Operations Team, we would like to extend our gratitude to each and every one of you for an amazing 2013. It has been a pleasure to assist you throughout the year and we look forward to working with you in 2014. We were delighted to see so many of you enjoy time with family and friends in your home away from home at Fontainebleau during the holiday season. It truly is a wonderful place to be. 2013 brought Fontainebleau the opening of the sophisticated American bistro-lounge, Michael Mina 74, and Timeless, the hotel’s exclusive boutique for exceptional timepieces and fine jewelry. Our BleauLive stage was on fire with performances by Jewel, Carly Rae Jepsen, FUN, Austin Mahone, Robin Thicke & Pharrell Williams, The Band Perry, Adam Lambert, Gloria Gaynor, and the 2013 iHeartRADIO concert weekend featuring Pitbull, Afrojack, Icona Pop, Kesha, Krewella and Jason Derulo. We invested in the commercial fishing boat, BLEAUFISH and upgraded our pristine aquariums aptly called “Water World” to provide guests with the freshest catch daily, which you can read more about in the “News from Fontainebleau” section of this newsletter. All of these exciting new concepts, events and activities continue to promote and expose Fontainebleau Miami Beach to the world, which reflects improvements in occupancy, average rate, and revenue for all owners participating in the rental program. 2014 will bring greater enhancements which will continue to keep Fontainebleau relevant as a luxury hotel. We are laser focused on delivering you and our hotel guests’ world-class service and enhanced products to keep us at the top. As we move into high season, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Fontainebleau! Sincerely,

German Cabieses, LCAM Director of Condo-Hotel Operations

Since re-opening in 2008, one of Fontainebleau’s missions has been to entertain and educate our guests and visitors through contemporary art, featuring an exclusive number of world-class visual artists and thinkers. Each of the artists’ selected for The Art of Fontainebleau’s program has a significant impact on the look and feel of the hotel. Every work of art installed within the hotel is unique, original and site-specific, and all the work has been integrated into Fontainebleau’s total architecture and design to create a completely curated environment. More than 50,000 international visitors, including artists, collectors, curators and art enthusiasts attend Art Basel Miami Beach every December. To coincide with the prestigious event, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in North Miami premiered “Angel Without You”, a retrospective focusing on world-renowned contemporary artist Tracey Emin’s neon works. A consummate storyteller, Tracey Emin reveals intimate details from her life to engage the viewer with her candid exploration of universal emotions. Her ability to integrate her work and personal life enables Emin to establish an intimacy with the viewer. Emin’s art takes many different forms of expression including neon lights, sculpture, needlework and drawings, video and installation, photography and painting. In partnership with MOCA, Fontainebleau was honored to celebrate Emin’s first U.S. museum exhibition with several events at the hotel. On December 5, 2013, to commemorate the collaboration, Fontainebleau unveiled its newest art acquisition, a neon text piece, “I Followed You To The Sun,” by Ms. Emin. “We are excited and fortunate to be a part of this wonderful collaboration with Tracey Emin and MOCA,” said Phil Goldfarb, President and Chief Operating Officer, Fontainebleau. ”From its curvilinear Chateau Tower and signature bow tie floors, to its light installations and awe-inspiring chandeliers, the artistic forms that exemplify Fontainebleau all convey a feeling of delight and joy and Tracey’s works in neon are seamlessly at home in that environment.” A rare book signing by Ms. Emin followed at Scarpetta where hundreds of fans came to meet the artist and obtain copies of her new book also titled “Angel Without You,” as well as have Tracey sign their Art Basel exhibition catalogues, with Emin featured on the cover. MOCA and Fontainebleau also commissioned Tracey to create new limited-edition works to honor the exhibit including a limited-edition beach towel, flip-flop sandals and tee shirt. The luxurious double-size beach towel includes an image of Emin’s neon work “Kiss Me Kiss Me Cover My Body In Love” (2010). The unisex rubber flip-flops feature Emin’s neon work “I Kiss You” (2004) on the bottom of the sole, which leaves an imprint of the image on the sand. The V-neck tee also features the work “Kiss Me Kiss Me Cover My Body In Love” (2010). All are available for purchase at MOCA, Morris & Co at Fontainebleau and online at www.mocanomi.org and www.fontainebleaushop.com. Ms. Emin’s works are on view at MOCA through March 9, 2014.

TIPS & SPECIALS FROM LAPIS

HOW TO CREATE A SPA IN YOUR OWN BATHROOM Immersing the body in water has been medically proven to be relaxing, therapeutic and a complement to a healthy lifestyle; this is why Lapis Spa offers water therapy in various ways and at varied temperatures. The deep muscle relaxations associated with a good hot bath help to reduce cramps, tension headaches and improves muscle elasticity. So, next time you have a stressful day (and you cannot whisk yourself to Lapis Spa), draw a bath and use these tips to create the ultimate soaking experience: Scented Bath Oil – Choose scented bath oil; floral scents like lavender, jasmine, iris and rose are associated with relaxation and can help to ease you into a relaxing state quicker. Bath Temperature – A warm bath is best for relaxing the body. Ideal water temperature is 92 degrees Fahrenheit. Body Scrub – Gently massaging your body with a sponge and body scrub will help engage your mind as the scrub buffs away dryness and leaves your skin supple and moist. Close Your Eyes – It is important to close your eyes during the bath to enter deep relaxation. Try cold cucumbers, an icy compress or eye pads which have been soaked in chilled chamomile tea. Bath Salts – If you have soreness, pain or swelling, bath salts reduce inflammation and stiffness, and help detoxify skin and increase circulation which helps to ease tension and revitalize the body. Candles – Bright bathroom lights tell your body its go-time — not bath time. Instead, light a few candles and place them around the room and on the edge of the tub. Cold Water – Set a bowl of ice water and a washcloth next to you and use it as a cold compress on your forehead or the nape of your neck to help keep you refreshed throughout the bath. Stay hydrated by drinking a full bottle of water. Bath Robe/Nice Bath Sheets – Get a plush terry cloth robe or fluffy towels that allow you to feel warm and comfortable and maintain a state of Zen. Multitask – Use the time to also give yourself a face and hair treatment. To cleanse your face, apply a clay mask to the skin avoiding the eyes. Allow to remain on the skin for 7 – 10 minutes then remove gently with a wet washcloth. Need to soften and hydrate your hair? Apply conditioner or a hair mask to wet hair then cover in a plastic cap and hot towel and allow the conditioner or mask to remain on hair for the duration of the bath. Wash and rinse thoroughly. Music – Play relaxing music to sooth your mood and aid in the process of relaxation. Relax afterwards – Enjoy time for yourself. Get a cup of tea and read or listen to music. Want more coziness? Heat a towel in the microwave and wrap around your neck and take a deep and well-earned nap.

Fontainebleau Executive Chef Thomas Connell devotes considerable thought and expense to ensure guests enjoy the highest quality and freshest ingredients available. Taking freshness to a new level, Fontainebleau just launched BleauFish, the hotel’s very own commercial fishing boat, providing a fresh catch of fish, lobster and Florida stone crab claws to the hotel’s award wining restaurants daily. Running each morning out of Coconut Grove’s Dinner Key Marina, BleauFish is a 43-foot Torres commercial fishing vessel with a three-man crew. BleauFish provides much of the nearly 800 pounds of fresh seafood the hotel uses daily, where the live catch is received and housed in a collection of 300 gallon salt water tanks called “Water World,” the first systems of their kind in the world. Designed and built by Fort Lauderdale’s Living Color Aquariums, Water World includes fish-friendly amenities like temperature-controlled water — Florida spiny lobsters like the thermostat set to 70 degrees; Maine lobsters prefer to chill at 50 degrees. A blue-hued ocean mural on the walls of Water World, and the tanks’ lights, kept on timers to mimic the ocean’s patterns, make the fish feel at home. “We want them to feel as much at home as possible,” says Chef Connell. “The less stress a fish feels, the fresher it’s going to taste when we pull it from the tanks. And that’s the whole reason we did this: to give guests the freshest seafood experience possible.” “We’re literally going from ocean to table in a matter of hours,” Connell said. “People don’t realize the tight timeline that fish have in terms of freshness. That clock starts ticking the second it gets pulled from the water. With this setup, the fish tastes exactly how it’s supposed to: like the sea.” So on your next visit taste the difference. Enjoy Lobster Tacos at Fresh, Florida stone crabs claws at Scarpetta and La Côte, as well as the new offerings at Michael Mina 74 including their customized shellfish cart featuring local shellfish and ceviches, or Crispy Fish Tacos, Grilled Red Snapper and Spiny Lobster Spaghetti.

OBTAIN GORGEOUS SKIN THROUGH KYPRIS SKIN CARE According to legend, the goddess Aphrodite rose from the foaming and frothy waters off the coast of Cyprus. The Cypriots, so enamored with the goddess, gave her a name in honor of their shared home—Kypris. Kypris is a luxurious line of holistic, high performance skin care botanicals for gorgeous skin. The product shuns the cultural obsession of ‘anti-aging’ and instead focuses on beauty that is wellness. Instead of masking the effects of environmental and lifestyle stressors with plastics like glycols or silicones, Kypris seeks to nourish skin by supporting its inherent, biology. The line consists of six items: three customizing serums and three multi-active, moisturizing beauty elixirs. The natural cycles of the body and lifestyle affect the skin differently each day. All formulations are 100% natural and nature-derived, scented and preserved with essential oils and plant extracts.
