Both blades have full snap in both open and close direction. Circa 1940 - 1964, and a Hammer Brand New York Knife Co. 4 - 1/4” two-blade “Sunfish” handled in jigged bone. Front scale is fine. Back scale has a minor chip by rear bolster. Both blades are solid and have good snap in both open and close direction. Circa 1900 - 1931. This knife is an unusual mix in that it has a tested master blade in red bone handle. Shield has an open C. Knife has been cleaned and buffed. Master blade and sheep foot blades have strong snap in both open and close direction. The spey is slow in opening.
