78 - REMINGTON RAND MODEL 1911-A1 U.S. ARMY PISTOL. (C). Serial No. 1787836 5” barrel in .45 ACP caliber. Manufactured in 1944. High condition World War II Remington Model 1911-A1. Left side of frame is stamped “F.J.A.” (Frank J. Atwood, June 1942 - March 1946) with “P” at magazine release button. Right side of frame is stamped :United States Property M 1911 A1 U.S. Army”. Has checkered non-spur hammer, checkered safety, serrated slidestop, checkered trigger, serrated lanyard loop arched mainspring housing. Left side of slide stamped “Remington Rand Inc. Syracuse, N.Y. U.S.A.”. Top of slide has “P” forward of rear sight. Left side lug of blued barrel stamped “P”, as is right side. Brown plastic Keyes style grips with reinforcing ring. This pistol remains in immaculate condition, retaining fully 98-99% of the phosphate military finish with a couple of very minor storage marks. 1,500.00 - 2,500.00 79 - COLT DIAMONDBACK D.A. REVOLVER. (M). Serial No. D62908 4” barrel chambered for the .38 Special cartridge. Manufactured in 1975. Offered is a standard six shot double action blued Colt Diamondback with vent rib, full lug, adjustable rear sight, target hammer, checkered walnut silver medallion smiley grips. 80 - BOXED COLT PRE-SERIES 70 NICKEL 1911 .38 SUPER. (M). Serial No. CS003805 5” barrel in .38 Super caliber. Manufactured in 1970. It is estimated that only 2% of total production of the Pre-Series 70 Colt Model 1911 A1s were manufactured in factory nickel chambered for the .38 Super, making it an extremely hard to find gun on the market. This example is all original, including grips, and retains approximately 99% original nickel with usual small storage marks. Comes in an original two piece box with instructions. 80A - COLT MOD 1911 U.S. ARMY SEMI-AUTO PISTOL (1917). (C). Serial No. 183360 5” barrel in .45 ACP caliber. Offered is an extremely fine condition all original U.S. Army Colt manufactured in 1917. Overall the pistol retains approximately 92-94% original Colt factory blue finish with thinning on front grip strap and flat mainspring housing. Features: “United States Property” stamped on left of frame, the “G.H.S.” inspector stamp (Gilbert H. Stewart 1915 - 1918) on the left side of frame, Colt pony at rear left slide, right side of slide stamped “Model of 1911 U.S. Army”, barrel is stamped with a perpendicular “PH” (blued), thin small front sight, rounded U-notch rear sight, checkered slide stop and safety, and wide short spur hammer, long smooth trigger, flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, excellent sharp diamond checkered walnut grips.
