1453 - FIGURAL ELEPHANT CIGAR CUTTER AND LAMP LIGHTER. 9 - 1/2” x 11 - 1/2” x 3 - 1/2”. Beautiful example of this cast-iron figural elephant cigar cutter and lamp lighter, in beautiful patina. Cigar cutter is operative and well lubricated. By simply pressing down the elephant’s tongue you can nip the cigar. The lamp comes with the original oil font with original dips to light the cigars and an original red ruby lampshade mounted to the original wooden base. One of the nicest condition figural elephant cigar cutters that we have seen. (Excellent). 2,000 - 3,000 1454 - NATIONAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY CIGAR ADVERTISING LIGHTER. 13” x 7” x 11”. Cast cigar lighter for the National Manufacturing Co. of St. Louis, Missouri. Battery-operated spark lighter with two front panels showing local advertising for Muncie, Indiana, most likely where the lighter had been put on display. In outstanding condition. Appears to have a dry cell battery on the inside. Advertising is lightly faded but original. The pull-down spark component is complete and operative, and the hinge is tight. Has the cap to fill the fluid. (Excellent). 1,500 - 2,500 1455 - UNUSUAL BALL-IN-HAND CIGAR LIGHTER WITH BLUE GLOBE. 14” x 8” x 12”. Very unusual and rare cigar lighter of a figural ball in hand with an original porcelain burner. All original patina with no cracks or breaks in the casting. A rare form for a cigar lighter in outstanding condition. (Excellent). 1,000 - 2,000

1456 - VERY EARLY CHILD’S HAND 3-D CIGAR LIGHTER WITH ORIGINAL PORCELAIN FIXTURE. 7” x 6” x 4”. Very early cast bronze child-size hand cigar lighter with original porcelain fixture and added wall plate, with original milk glass shade. (Excellent). 800 - 1,500 1457 - E-B BANNER CIGAR CUTTER AND MATCH DISPENSER. 7” x 6” x 8”. A fantastic cast-iron cigar cutter with a match dispenser advertising the E-B Banner handmade cigar, by the the Banner Cigar Manufacturing Co. in Detroit, Michigan. By depressing the forward level to nip your cigar, the internal mechanism pushes a match through the slot in the faceplate. If you use non-safety matches, when you remove the match it would light. The cigar cutter is in original patina, showing faint signs of copper flashing to the base and the sides. Areas of finish loss to the faceplate, but retaining most of its original nickel plating. A great original cigar cutter in wonderful aged patina. (Very Good). 600 - 900 1458 - VENDOME CIGAR CUTTER AND MATCH DISPENSER. 7” x 6” x 8”. All original cigar cutter with a match dispenser advertising Coffey’s Vendome 10¢ cigar. When the forward lever is pressed in order to nip the cigar, the inside mechanism pushes a match through the slot in the upper faceplate. If you can find non-safety matches, when you remove the match from the slot, it would automatically light. The cutter has original in-painting to the faceplate. All original plating shows areas of loss on the bottom frame and on the inside areas that were most likely used for an ashtray. A very difficult cigar cutter to find, and this one is in nice original condition. (Very Good). 600 - 800
