Beautiful gold repoussé double/pair case with seated woman and standing man with sword and feathered helmet. Outer edge of case with goose, dog, squirrel and bird. Repeater bell is most likely hiding hallmarks. Estimated to be from late 1700’s or early 1800’s. Gold engraved/ textured dial. Outer case has purple velvet liner inside. Engine turned case numbered and stamped with “K18” tombstone mark. Even moderate wear to engine turning on covers and bow, otherwise in excellent condition. All functions tested and working properly with the exception of the split-second Rattrapante pointer. It does move in unison with the chrono seconds pointer, and does reset as well.
