An early reverse glass tobacco advertisement for Seidenberg Co.’s La Flor Cigars, featuring an exceptional portrait of the wondrous Lillian Russell. She was a celebrated actress and singer during the turn of the 20th century and dominated with her stage presence. The sign is beautifully placed in a wood frame with some flaking to the field only, the image and lettering are completely in tact. Lot consists of a set of five Smoke Old Virginia Cheroots tobacco advertisements, indicating “3 For 5 Cents.” Offering The Cane Walk No.’s 1 through 5, the full set. Copyrighted 1899. Each appear to be in near perfect condition, professionally matted and housed in black frame with burgundy trim. The vibrant and crisp colors stand out to make this incredible full set of early ads something you don’t want to miss out on.
