About me

Design has always been my greatest passion. Studying furniture and product design has allowed me to refine my skills and expand my knowledge, significantly enhancing my attention to detail. I am captivated by the interplay of interior design and architecture, particularly how colors, textures, forms, and materials can transform a space into something extraordinary. This fascination continues to inspire and fuel my creative journey.

ADDITIONAL PROJECTS

THE BRIEF:

To design a luxury drinks trolley that embodies the experience of being at a bar.

CONTEXT:

To create a drinks trolley that reflects the way in which the interior of a bar makes you feel. I wanted to take into consideration the ornaments, glasses, seating and materials that you get when visiting a bar. I want to design a product that encourages a social interaction as well as a surprise ‘peacock’ moment.

TARGET MARKET:

Financially stable 30-45 year old who appreciate detailed luxury furniture.

ON-GOING PROJECT

THE BRIEF:

To design the kitchen and interior for a new, modern, open-planned kitchen diner.

CONTEXT:

A kitchen, dinning area and utility room are being united to make a large open-planned living/ dinning space. Walls will be knocked down, with a new kitchen and flooring being fitted to create a more flexible modern space. I will be responsible for decorating the interior, including colour schemes, ornaments, accessories, and other furnishings to make sure they look modern but also tie in with the rest of the house.

RENDERS

After taking measurements of the space, I initiated the design process by considering the client’s specific appliance requirements, as well as their desired styling and colour preferences. Recognising the existing features of the house, I determined that a shaker style would best complement the overall aesthetic. To infuse the room with a modern, bright ambiance, I opted for ‘Arctic White’ units. To optimize the room’s visual impact, I made the decision to extend the feature wall seamlessly into the ceiling. This clever design choice not only added an illusion of increased room size but also effectively divided the spaces, contributing to a harmonious and well-defined interior.

MOOD BOARD

After making sure the clients were happy with the kitchen, I could start to think about the finishing touches to the room. The colour scheme and finishes of the kitchen units are very neutral which left lots of room for me to start experimenting with what colours and textures would suit the environment and elevate the design.

PERSONAL ARTWORK

Alongside my passion for furniture, I also deeply enjoy creating art. I work on commissions for paintings and drawings, as well as producing pieces for my own pleasure. This relaxing yet focused hobby has taught me to pay close attention to detail while improving my time management through meeting commission deadlines. Art has become a complementary pursuit to my love for furniture, inspiring innovative designs and enriching my creative journey.
