Founded in 1867 as the Augusta Institute in Augusta, Georgia, Morehouse College is the nation’s largest liberal arts college for men. SPELMAN COLLEGE
Founded in 1881, Spelman College is the only institution of its kind. ATLANTA UNIVERSITY CENTER
The Atlanta University Center is a unique consortium of historically black institutions of higher learning in located in Atlanta, Georgia. Its partner institutions include Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, The Interdenominational Theological Center, and the Morehouse School of Medicine. Each of the aforementioned schools offers cross-registration opportunities for their undergraduate fellows and share use of the Robert W. Woodruff Library located on Clark Atlanta’s campus.
