Moravian Academy is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory day school offering preschool (age 3) through twelfth grade. The upper school is located in Bethlehem, in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, which is the third largest metropolitan area in the state.

ACTIVITIES: Athletics - Moravian Academy is a member of the PIAA and participates in the Colonial League (75% of students participate on an athletic team); all freshmen are required to participate on a team, or in our Outdoor Education program. Girls teams: cross-country, field hockey, golf, tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, and lacrosse. Boys teams: cross country, golf, soccer, basketball, swimming, lacrosse, tennis, and baseball. Additionally, students can participate in football, girls’ volleyball, softball and track in cooperative programs with a local school.

Performing Arts - Special programs in theater arts, vocal and instrumental music, and the visual arts are available to all students. Community Service - Service is an integral part of school life. Students are required to complete at least 40 hours before graduation. Clubs - Student clubs are generated by student interest from year to year and include Women’s Awareness, Gender Sexuality Alliance, International Club, DECA, EMB, Debate, Hispanic and Latinx Club, Literary Magazine, Yearbook, Black Student Union, Quiz Bowl, and more. Leadership - Student leadership opportunities include Student Council, Class Officers, MA Ambassadors who volunteer in the Admissions and Development offices, student club leaders, and Pride Mentors who provide guidance to younger students.
