COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
Moraga Citizens Network
Good communication helps create a sense of community, of belonging, of feeling included. That is part of the mission of Moraga Citizens Network. Here are two tools we offer to assist you in knowing what is happening in Moraga —the where, the when, and the how YOU can feel more a part of this town.
The MCN Link
A bi-monthly e-bulletin links you to up-to-date announcements of Moraga events like public meetings, concerts, festivals, library classes and so much more.
See a sample on our website in “Newsletter Archives” and then give it a try for a couple of months. Use the Sign Up button on the website or email ellen.beans@ gmail.com

Moraga Historical Society

There is an abundance of history in the Moraga Valley! Be a part of the Town’s history by joining the Moraga Historical Society. The History Center is located at 1500 St. Mary’s Road (on the right side of the Moraga Library). There you can find a treasure trove of information regarding the Town’s beginnings including photos, family histories, artifacts, and documents of historical events. Annual dues are $10 student, $15 single adult, $25 family.
Take the Walking Tour around town, buy a Moraga Pride or Images of America: Moraga book, and discover the history right here in our neighborhood. For more information visit the History Center on Thursday from 1 PM–3 PM, visit our website www.moragahistory.org or call Susan Sperry at 925-376-3053. n
