Design is exploration, exploration into space, exploration into inspiration, culture, landscape and function. Design is the elevation of space; it incorporate elements of arts design and sulpture to make a more functional, pleasant and ephemeral environment for it’s inhabitants and to create a pictural story of a space. Interior Design is the extension of our surroundings, allowing us to touch feel and grasp the world.
As an Interior Designer I continue to challenge the concept of space and explore solutions to design problems that are innovative and progressive. I find it necessary to move the design process past visual to written presentation, with exploration of words and poetry to inform my design. The following are my explorations in finding solutions to design problems through creative thinking.

A soft breeze refreshes the soul like the sand that flows, the elements of the earth show. The shining turquoise of the water, reflected in the walls. The sparkling stars and futrustic glow present in the corners of our home.

layouts for the ground floor backyard firepit, grass lookout, spa lounge and dining area, master bedroom deck and entrance foyer.
I have created multiple presentations with options for the client as well as creating 2D drawings and 3D models for these options.
Once the client has selected their preferred
layout and furniture I have created purchase invoices, contacted vendors for purchasing and scheduling deliveries for each space.

My base, bones of the earth rocky and rough as the tides come alive water passes by Lights reflect up, on the roof of my life pierced through my veins, air runs up above from ground to the sky I ascend from this time.
A group Hostel project located in Venice, Italy dealing with the current sustainability issues of global warming. As the Venice Aqua Alta floods the city often during the year this hostel aims to embrace the flood waters and take them into the space. Water enters under the reception area moving into canals
on the side of the building and pouring into the outdoor garden. The water is then used for gray water systems in the space and as well as ventilation. When the hot air enters the space and hits the water stream it cools down and as it heats again it rises and leaves the space through vertical tunnels created
through the space. Hotel guests can look through these tunnels and see the water stream bellow. The material moves from a heavy stereoscopic to a light and tectonic, mimicking the feeling of being lifted up when you look at the sky’s of Venice while walking its narrow streets.
“Acqua alta” (high water) is a phenomenon which generally takes place in Venice in winter, where the high tide can cause a larger inflow of water into the Venetian.

The arduous journey that is life the suffering that it prescribes but is there a path apart the sorrows?
A space beyond space? The moments grace The bliss of silence and the meditative state.
As you ride in the subway to the Broadway G stop, you have the option of embarking on your personal spiritual journey after traveling through an argues journey in the train, and the suffering of this lifetime. Once entered the space you are greeted with rooms of mist, water and darkness evoking the sense
of immaterial reminding that there exists a possibility beyond physical reality. Spaces exists stacked with blocks up to the rim showing the immense information in our minds and by the process of moving and stacking blocks one by one like counting grains of rice, one enters a meditative state
and begins to admit, accept and organize the chaos of the mind and world, transcending beyond.
Through manipulating the users comfortzone the participant becomes aware of their surroundings. It is at a place of discomfort and discord that the human brain starts to activate and find ways of retaining their comfort.
Your path starts by going on an ardus journey through the subway to arrive at the site. The ride creates a discomforting atmosphere forcing the user to attempt a change in their way of life.
