GABBEE + MATTHEW STOLP

A collaborative project between migrant women from Red Cross and Women’s Health Tasmania and artists Gaby Falconer and Jenny Dean. Participants in the program identified an object significant to them and their life which then became the catalyst for drawings and prints.

Bones of an Archive is a survey exhibition of photographs from 1970-2022. This exhibition presents a selection of work drawn from the studio, the street and the Australian landscape. At the heart of it all is a glimpse into the essence of things and a take on the human condition.

"Why don't you love us?" cry the plovers and the seagulls. Two species that are too easily abhorred. This exhibition brings these two bird-kinds together in ceramic and textile and edifies them to the heights they deserve.

WHY DON'T YOU LOVE US?

ERIN BRANDALL

Using SCOBY to etch copper plates and magnets to erase Primal tapes, inherited trauma is exorcised from the matrilineal line, and is a release of intergenerational grief onto paper.

Anna Hall is an artist that works with watercolour, pencil and ink on paper to create vibrantly detailed and abstract scenes and landscapes. Anna creates her work with the desire to bring happiness to the viewer.
