FFA Members helped with the Union Star Methodist Church Benifit Dinner for the Krause Family on March 2nd. Members helped people to the tables, cleared tables, and helped to clean up after the event.
On March 6th Wyatt Thiemann did a great job representing the Union Star FFA Chapter at the Area 1 FFA Officer Interviews at Cameron High School. Wyatt was unfortunately not selected to serve on the Area 1 FFA Officer team, but still represented well out of the 14 possible candidates. Supporting him along his journey to try to receiving a Area 1 FFA Officer position were our two delegates Eliza and Reid. Thank you to these two members for going and serving as delegates for our FFA Chapter.
On March 6th we also had Reid our chapter Treasurer submit a Treasurer's Book which received 1st place and advances to State, and Eliza the chapter Reporter submitted an Electronic Scrapbook which received 2nd place. Congratulations to these members for getting these books done and representing our chapter well.
Eliza Dunham got second place on her scrap book, Reid Smith got first on his Treasures book, and Wyatt tried out for area officer
On March 5th Missouri State FFA Vice President Kiley Mattson came to talk with members of our FFA Chapter. Kyle meet with the the freshman members about different opportunities that FFA as to offer and they played an Analogy Carnaval. The Sophomore members looked into the different sectors of Agriculture and the potential jobs within those sectors. With the Junior members they discussed how you have to be mindful of what you say, as once it comes out it doesn't go back in.
