Dear Friends of Montini Catholic, On behalf of the Montini Catholic Board of Directors, students, faculty and staff and the Maroon & Gold Gala committee, I would like to extend a very special thank you to all of our honorees, corporate and business sponsors, businesses and individual donors, those who helped underwrite the gala with monetary donations, and lastly, all who planned to attend our gala on March 21st of this year.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 shelter in place order enacted in Illinois, we were not able to hold the gala this year. We are very disappointed that we could not come together to celebrate our student success stories or the accomplishments of our honorees.

The pandemic, however, did not affect the spirit of generosity and support that we experience every year at our gala. All of our corporate and individual sponsors and advertisers, and many of our ticket holders, honored their financial commitments to the gala to ensure that our school benefited financially. We are humbled by the generosity we’ve witnessed, and extremely thankful to each and every one of you.

The Maroon & Gold Gala is our largest fundraising activity. Its success gives us the financial resources needed to provide extensive academic and extracurricular programs to our students. As supporters, you have truly “Touched the Hearts” of all of us here at Montini Catholic – and I cannot thank you enough.

In 2020 our Robotics Team Qualified for the VEX World Championship!

This past spring, our Robotics Team (above), after advancing to the 2020 VEX Robotics State Championship Tournament, also qualified for the World Championship. Out of over 11,000 VEX teams from around the world, our Bronco team was one of only 720 teams who qualified for this unique worldwide event, which included teams from over 30 countries!
