We profess that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of sinful man.

AWAKE TO EFFECTIVE AND FERVENT PRAYERS Prayer is a way of life, a constant attitude of the heart. David said in Psalm 55 vs 17, “Evening and Morning and Noon, will I pray and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”

Prayer involves adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication.

Jesus taught us to pray by example as well as His words. Prayer is a necessity for the spiritual well being of the Christian.

It changes people and things and is the key that unlocks all the resources of God’s blessings and promises.

Luke 18:1 - “And ye spake a parable unto them to this end that men ought always to pray and not to faint.”

Ephesians 6:18 - “Praying always with all prayers and supplication in the spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 - “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their

wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.”

Mark 11:24 - “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.

Our main theme for the year 2009 is “ AWA K E T O E F F E C T I V E A N D FERVENT PRAYERS” - James 5:16.

PURPOSE STATEMENT The Baillou Hill Road Community Church of God of Prophecy is dedicated to personal growth and social transformation through living and spreading the gospel of the kingdom in all its fullness and power, so that the rule of God is brought about in the hearts of men.

WHO ARE WE In an increasingly complex and ever-changing society, we are aware that the ability to remain relevant to peoples needs is dependent upon our ability to respond to changes in a positive manner, without compromising the truth. We are committed to serving our community by spreading the truth of the Gospel to all people.

VISION STATEMENT Our vision, in light of the Great Commission, is to be a “Christian Community” that uses its resources to minister holistically to all people.

MISSION STATEMENT To continually strengthen our personal relationship with our Saviour Jesus Christ; especially in what we say, what we do, how we live and how we serve God and our fellow men.

To bear witness for Jesus Christ, His Truth and Righteousness. Striving to make Christian disciples of all peoples. Nurturing Believers for spiritual growth and maturity.
