This Month we’re all about planning! The holiday season is upon us and we know the coming months are the busiest of the year. We’re here to help as much as possible. First off, if you’re looking at private schools for your child, this issue is tailor made for you. On pages 1017, you’ll find all the info you need to start your search for the right school for your child. There are so many good options that we know it’s a difficult decision and we hope the guide makes it a little easier. Secondly, if you’d like to get a head start on gift giving, Tara Tudisco has twelve great ideas for “experience” gifts on pages 20-21. Instead of more stuff this year, why not gift a museum membership or a cooking class gift certificate? If your parents or in-laws aren’t local, send them the article to give them some ideas what your family might like. A membership that gives your family hours of fun all year is the perfect gift from grandparents! Finally, Nicole Amaral has compiled an extensive list of Christmas tree lighting events and lighted parades. They begin around Thanksgiving so you need to plan now to be sure you attend the ones that most appeal to you. There are so many festive events that you’re sure to start your Christmas off on the right note by attending one or more. The issue is rounded out by military events, an informative article on why horseback riding is a great choice for your child, and some suggestions from Gail Root on how to keep your family stories alive.
