Morven Chapter of Las Amigas Incorporated
HISTORY
Las Amigas Incorporated, is a non-profit organization, which provides sound guidance for constructive work in educational and civic activities. The organization strives to increase the cultural awareness and understanding of its members through sponsored activities.
The national organization of Las Amigas Incorporated currently has four regions with chapters across the United States (Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, DC).
The Morven Chapter was established in 1987. Over the years, we have offered a variety of social and cultural activities in our local community. Activities such as this pageant afford us the opportunity to award annual scholarships to students in Anson County.

Message from President McCoy
On behalf of Morven Chapter of Las Amigas Incorporated, we welcome you to our annual Little Miss Las Amigas pageant. Our thanks go out to the supporters who have helped us make this event possible. Personally, I would like to thank God for this opportunity, he has kept us another year. I also want to express my appreciation to all of you who have been the wind beneath our wings this year.
Morven Chapter of Las Amigas Incorporated has helped the community in many ways. Over the past thirty-five plus years this event has generated scholarship funds of more than $35,000.00. Scholarships are awarded annually to high school and college students. These funds have and will continue to provide the opportunity for the recipients to meet their educational goals. As an organization it is our desire and goal to continue working diligently and serving Morven and Anson County as a whole.
To the Morven Chapter of Las Amigas sisters, I want to thank you for your support, dedication, and commitment to the organization as you let your light shine through your works. We want to thank the parents of the contestant and the community we solicit for your continued support and encouragement. We ask your continued prayers for this organization to remain strong and spiritually motivated in our effort to be effective in the lives of the people we serve in Anson County.

I Miss You, Dad
I thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new, I thought about you yesterday, And days before that, too.
I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have are memories, And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part.
Love Always
