We Perform

In the spring of 2022 our Adopt-A-School Program returned, using arts to enhance the curriculum in our public schools. Both South and Burncoat high schools in Worcester partnered with us to incorporate the themes, history and sociological impacts of a Broadway show into their curriculum across every subject matter in preparation for 2,400 students (pictured above) to see the Broadway tour of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.

In March of 2021, 1,400 Worcester Public Schools (WPS) 11th graders attended a performance of Warriors Don’t Cry. This performance was part of our annual Learning Through Education and Arts Partnership (LEAP) and is based on a book of the same title where Melba Patillo Beals gives an autobiographical account of the integration of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957. In April we also hosted 1,100 WPS 12th graders at a performance of THT Rep’s Poe Double Header as part of the LEAP program.
