We Celebrate
Time flies when you are having fun and sometimes it is hard to believe that The Hanover Theatre Conservatory (THTC) opened with just 13 classes and 75 students five short years ago! We now regularly offer over 90 classes and our studios are filled with over 500 students annually. The theatre had been serving thousands of area students through our student matinees and outreach programs prior to 2017, but the opening of the conservatory was a game changer. The ability to work with and train students in stateof-the-art studios six days a week meant building deeper, more meaningful connections with the students and families we were serving. More importantly, the conservatory allowed us to build a community and second home for artists of the future.
We are so grateful to the students, families and faculty who have supported the conservatory over the last five years. After witnessing the incredible community that students experience within our walls, anonymous donors set up a $1 million endowment in late 2021. They expressed their confidence in the organization’s leadership, especially THTC President Meghan Montaner, who celebrated 15 years of service in the spring of 2022. Her dedication and talent continue to have a major positive impact on our organization, our students and our community. The donors hope their gift will raise awareness of the conservatory’s broad learning and performance opportunities. We are certain that this generous gift will allow countless young people to find their passion, their place and their voice in the world through the arts.

Annually, we award $50,000 in scholarships so that all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have access to the transformative power of the arts. Scholarships are made possible through our Access to the Arts Fund and the generosity of individuals who created both anonymous and named scholarships.
