Exmoor ponies are one of the most iconic breeds across our stunning rural landscape. Jan Potts captured this peaceful moment of reflection for our March photo of the month.

“I’m not a photographer as such, but like to take a few snaps each day of Exmoor

scenery throughout the seasons, especially the wildlife, trees and native flower species we get on the moor,” Jan told Molton Monthly. Her photo was taken while walking around Ley Hill, near the picturesque Horner Wood.
