After record high temperatures of 16C over the New Year, the first snow of 2022 fell on Exmoor on January 4th.

Julie Schiller captured perfectly the feel of the sudden winter’s chill for our photo of the month, on a day out to Brendon Common.

Simonsbath, spotted the snow on the moors so we decided to take a look,” said Julie.

“I am certainly no expert when taking photos, I use my iPhone, but I love taking pictures of animals on the Exmoor landscape.
