Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville Team Partner Program
Jacksonville
Companies and Teams Beneift From: • increased visibility in the community as a socially responsible corporation/group working toward resolving the rising cost of affordable housing in Jacksonville • participating in valuable team building activities for employees/team members that enhance staff retention, productivity, and job satisfaction • participating in the enriching experience of working alongside HabiJax homebuyers as they earn "sweat equity" toward their new home.
Take a Day Out of the Office and Spend It Transforming Lives and Communities HabiJax works to provide affordable housing solutions for families in need. Your company or team will work with HabiJax: • alongside homebuyers, building new homes from the ground up, • making limited restorations to existing homes that are vacant, • repairing and renewing owner-occupied homes, • or assisting elderly or disabled homeowners with improvements that they may not otherwise be able to complete themselves. No construction skills or tools are required; our team leaders will train, supervise, and provide tools and materials. By the end of the day, your group will be connected with each other and with the community in a truly unique way. The satisfaction that comes from working with your hands will leave your group motivated and exhilarated!
Because the number of homes we can build or repair is determined by how much money we raise, our sustainability depends on the vital combination of funds and volunteer labor provided by our supporters. 100% of support from our Team Partner Program directly funds the cost of materials to build, renovate, and repair homes sold with a zero-percent mortgage to low- and moderate-income families in need of affordable housing. 2404 Hubbard Street | Jacksonville, FL 32206 (904) 798-4529 | www.habijax.org
