CREATE WHAT CANNOT JUST BE SEEN, RATHER WHAT MUST BE EXPERIENCED
Design has the ability to take us places we have yet to know. Designing using all senses, is one of my main goals as a creative. We have such power in the way we curate an experience. To tell a story is beyond a simple selection of color but it is the way we orchestrate multiple discoveries through a space and choreograph the users journey. In many cases design of the interior is a layered discipline that takes into account many different points of interest.

HOTEL SUITE
The suite room features a large king bed. With the use of natural materials and the bright light, the room becomes a refreshing space to return to after a long day of adventuring. Many of the small details are reminiscent of the nature found in Savannah.
CAFE SPACE
The Cafe space allows guests to quickly grab a coffee and snack to go, as they venture out into the city of Savannah. This space is also good to stick around and do some work or people watch.

Rayless Warmth
Residential
Design
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Take a walk inside this 900 sqft apartment located in Zurich, Switzerland. The apartment’s concept is called Rayless Warmth. Rayless Warmth captures a comfy and mysterious environment. Creating light from dark, a strong harmonious feeling is generated. Rose and gold tones meld together with flat grays and blacks, developing depth. This concept stems from the old libraries that create a warmth with the wood and the lighting along with the books that fill the space. With or without bright light a sense of warmth can be created and so Rayless Warmth is found.

Playing in the Treetops
As you are venturing through the woods something catches your eye. A large wood structure pierces through the trees. It has an abandoned feel about it but not quite inhabitable. It soars high with vines growing over it and rickety bridges connecting the structures. Somethings off but you can’t quite tell what it is. The last people had left in a hurry. Was it that hissing noise in the background or were they on the run from someone? The only way to know is behind that door.
The initial concept came from a short 15 minute sketch. The final renderings were created in Adobe Photoshop. The style takes on an architectural feel that is light but effective.
