SCHOOL UNIFORMS
A neat appearance is the responsibility of all students. The school uniform is to always be worn properly in school and when traveling to and from school. We require that students fully conform to our dress code regulations to fully realize our objectives of neatness and cleanliness. To ensure adherence to our standards, uniforms must be purchased from the Tommy Hilfiger Company. All uniform purchases should be made through the link on our school website. Complete details regarding this policy may be found in the Student/Parent Handbook on our website (www.molloyhs.org).
ALL STUDENTS MUST COME TO SCHOOL AND LEAVE SCHOOL DRESSED IN FULL UNIFORM.
GIRLS: Uniform shirt, uniform pants/skirt, knee high socks/tights, dress shoes.
BOYS: Uniform shirt, uniform pants, tie, dress socks, dress shoes.
Students cannot enter or leave the building in sweatpants, sneakers, crocs, pajama bottoms, athletic socks etc. Appropriate outerwear should be worn to and from school (sweatshirt, jacket) and must be left in the students’ locker during the school day. During lunch, students are allowed to wear their jackets or sweatshirts. Uniforms do not need to be worn for iPad distribution, but they do need to be worn for the iPad makeup day. All members of the Class of 2028 are expected in full uniform on their Orientation date on September 4th.
TEXTBOOKS, WORKBOOKS, SUPPLIES
Textbooks will be loaded onto students’ iPads (See iPad distribution schedule on next page). Additional workbooks, novels, and supplementary textbooks will be available to purchase via our online bookstore. Details will be emailed to all students in the summer.
All Math courses at Molloy require the use of the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator. This is the calculator our teachers will be using in the classroom and therefore is the only type and model that should be purchased. There is no need to have the calculator in class for the first day of school; teachers will speak about the calculator in the first weeks and give students a deadline of when to bring it to class. If you would like to purchase the calculator over the summer, please make sure it is the TI - 84 Plus CE and keep it in its original packaging. This calculator will be used for all four years of math classes at Molloy.
All general class supplies that are needed will be mentioned by teachers once school begins and/or in the course syllabus. 3

SCHEDULING, ACCELERATED COURSES, AND STUDENT RECORDS
If your child is currently taking a Regents course and/or accelerated language course in 8th grade and wishes to be considered for accelerated placement in 9th grade:
• Please upload a PDF of your child’s transcript and/or report card showing final course marks in Regents/accelerated language courses, as well as Regents/Language Proficiency exam scores at this link no later than Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Only upload a PDF if you wish to have your child considered for acceleration. Note that we cannot wait to receive these records over the summer, as we make our acceleration decisions in late June/early July. To read our acceleration policy, please consult our Freshman Course Information & FAQ page on our website.
For all families:
• Please confirm that your child’s current school will send records/grades over the summer. Catholic elementary schools usually send us records over the summer, however most public schools do not send us records unless the parent/ guardian requests it. If your child’s current school is unable to send us records over the summer, please be sure to provide a final transcript showing all junior high school marks and completion of 8th grade when your child reports for iPad distribution in late August. Students will not be able to begin classes in September unless all previous academic records are on file.
• Students will receive more information about their class schedules when they pick up their iPad in late August.
• For questions about scheduling, consult our Academics >> Courses page on our website. You may also contact Dr. Des Flynn, Assistant Principal, with any questions you may have (dflynn@molloyhs.org).
SPECIAL EDUCATION ACCOMMODATIONS
Molloy does not provide accommodations or special education services for classroom instruction or assessments. Students who have IEP, IESP, or 504 plans may be eligible to receive testing accommodations on New York State Regents and college entrance examinations (SAT, AP, ACT, etc) only. If your child currently receives special education services or accommodations through an existing IEP, IESP, or 504 plan, please complete and submit the following form: Click Here For Testing Accommodations Form
MEDICAL FORMS
SCHOOL HEALTH EXAM FORMS ARE MANDATORY for all incoming freshmen. Completed forms need to be returned to Archbishop Molloy High School no later than June 1, 2024. All forms can also be found on the school website at www.molloyhs.org under Parents >> School Nurse.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN DO STUDENTS RECEIVE THEIR METRO CARDS?
Metro cards are given out to qualified NYC residents (qualification is based on a student’s address) during the first full week of school in homeroom and then again at the end of January.
WILL WE NEED ANY BOOKS IN ADDITION TO THOSE THAT WILL BE LOADED ONTO THE IPAD?
Students will need to purchase workbooks, novels, and supplementary textbooks in addition to the books that will be loaded onto their iPads. These books can be purchased on our online bookstore. Details on where to purchase these books online will be emailed to students later in the summer.
HOW WILL THE SCHOOL COMMUNICATE WITH US DURING OUR FOUR YEARS AS PARENTS OF MOLLOY STUDENTS?
Communication will be conducted through your Parent Stanner email address. This parent email address will be created specifically for communicating with our Molloy students’ parents and is the primary form of communication from the school. You will receive an email with instructions on setting up your account. We may also communicate through our Parent Portal, called Blackbaud. See the next two pages for detailed instructions on how to log into your Parent Stanner Email, your Blackbaud Parent Portal, and your Blackbaud Tuition Management portal pages. If you have any questions or problems setting up your account, please email helpdesk@molloyhs.org

PARENT COMMUNICATION INFO
At Archbishop Molloy High School, we have several different ways that parents can connect online to keep track of important information and their student’s progress at school.
STANNER PARENT EMAIL: The Stanner Parent Email is an email account issued to each parent on our @stanner.org domain. We will use the Molloy issued Parent Stanner email address as the official vehicle for communication from the school. You will receive an email in June with your username, password, and login instructions. You can log into the account at https://www.gmail.com, or use the Gmail app (or your preferred mail app) on your phone or tablet.
BLACKBAUD: Blackbaud is Molloy’s Parent Portal. You can login to view your student’s progress, including grades, assignments, attendance, report cards/transcripts, schedules, activities, and sports. You can also update contact information like your phone number and address. Blackbaud can be used to message your student’s teachers. There are resources and news pages for parents. You can fill out an application for your younger children. We send our text message updates through the Blackbaud system, so please read the instructions on the Blackbaud Quick Sheet (on page 9), explaining how to add your cell phone number for communications. You must opt in to receive text messages. You should already have the login info for your Blackbaud account. It is the same username and password that you created when filling out your child’s application at Molloy. You do not need to download any software or apps to access Blackbaud. It can be accessed from any device’s web browser at https://molloyhs.myschoolapp.com
If you have any trouble logging into your email, or either portal, please email or call our full time IT Department at helpdesk@molloyhs.org or 718-441-2100 ext. 118/220. They can help you login, reset passwords, add the email accounts to your phone or tablet, etc.

BLACKBAUD TUITION MANAGEMENT: Blackbaud Tuition Management is Molloy’s Tuition Portal. It is part of the Blackbaud suite of software. On this portal, you can choose your payment plan and method of payment. You can set up auto-debit (electronic check), or auto credit card payments. You can also make one-time payments through the portal instead of signing up for auto pay. You can view your invoices if you prefer to pay by check (mail or in person). Please contact our Finance Department at finance@molloyhs.org with any questions.
To login, go to https://parent.blackbaud.com. You can call or email the IT Department to get your username and password, or have a username auto assigned by clicking the button “I am a first-time user.” On the next screen, enter TWO of the following: your email address, phone number, or Blackbaud Tuition Management Family ID number, and click submit. (After filling out the Tech Fee/Tuition Agreement form, you should have received a welcome email from Blackbaud Tuition Management that contains your Family ID number). It will then bring you to a screen where you can create a username and password. Fill it out and click “Create Username.” Then, return to the login page and login. Blackbaud also has a Blackbaud Tuition Management “Single Sign On” option. This means you can log on through Blackbaud, and it will save your username and password. To do so:
• Log into Blackbaud
• Click on the “Resources” tab
• Click on the “Blackbaud Tuition Management SSO” link
• Sign into Blackbaud Tuition Management
• After signing in, anytime you click on the “Blackbaud Tuition Management SSO” link in Blackbaud, you will be auto logged-in to Blackbaud Tuition Management.

TUITION 2024-2025
TUITION = $11,750
(Payable in 10 monthly installments, July – April)
Archbishop Molloy High School makes every effort to keep tuition and fees as affordable as possible. Our Alumni are very generous in supporting the mission at Molloy on behalf of your children. We understand the financial sacrifice that parents make to send their children to Catholic school. The vast majority of the school’s funding is derived from tuition and fees. The school must operate in a financially sound manner to provide a top-quality Catholic education in the Marist tradition for each and every one of our students. We ask that parents make every effort to submit payments in a timely fashion.
DELINQUENT PAYMENTS
Students whose accounts are greater than two (2) months past due, resulting in an overdue balance of greater than $2,350, may be suspended from class until payment is made. As a courtesy to our families, we do not charge late fees. If circumstances arise that may cause an overdue balance, the Finance Office must be notified immediately.
ARREARS POLICY
Tuition and fees not paid for an individual student as of the end of the fiscal year (8/31) will not be transferred as arrears to the student’s account for the new academic year under the following circumstances:
• The student has carried over arrears in a previous academic year; and
• The total balance is greater than three months’ tuition ($3,525 in 2024-2025).
When these criteria apply, the student may be asked to withdraw from Molloy. An official transcript will not be issued until balances have been cleared.
TUITION QUESTIONS
Should you have questions about tuition or your bill, please contact Danielle Santucci-Gracchi in the Finance Department at (718) 441-2100 x117 or finance@molloyhs.org. The Finance Office is open during July and August, Monday through Thursday, from 8AM-12PM. You can view your invoice at any time through Blackbaud Tuition Management.
PLEASE NOTE: Students whose tuition is past due by August 2024 will not be able to pick up their iPad during the August distribution orientation.

THE FIVE MARIST PILLARS
tS . Marcellin Champag tan ts . marcellin champag
The Marist Brothers follow in the footsteps of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, teaching the love and compassion of Jesus Christ while providing young men and women with a complete education. Marist educators journey with students, leading them to grow into adults rooted in Marist values. Students walk with us and develop into good citizens of the world who accept faith as an important part of their culture. These are the marks of a Marist Student.
PRESENCE: Caring for each other, seeking relationships founded on love, being attentive and welcoming.
SIMPLICITY: Being straightforward and genuine, humble and modest, ‘doing good quietly.’
FAMILY SPIRIT: Relating to each other as members of a loving family, building community, offering the warmth of welcoming, acceptance and belonging, setting clear standards of honesty, mutual respect, and tolerance.
LOVE OF WORK: Being generous of heart, confident, and persevering in our daily work and meeting the needs of our community.
IN THE WAY OF MARY: Seeing Mary as a perfect model of being Marist: tender, strong, constant in faith, open to God’s calling us to our own journey to discipleship.
We at Archbishop Molloy High School design our educational experience to provide our students with an extraordinary academic and spiritual education. We trust that the Catholic education you find at Molloy will reflect the level of love and concern that you have for your children.
If for some reason your high school plans have changed, please contact our Admissions Office via email at admissions@molloyhs.org.
We wish you and your family a wonderful and relaxing summer. All of us at Molloy look forward to greeting you in August at iPad distribution.
