1 In phrase one the toy that i choosen to study is Kalaidoscope. I explore kalaidoscope in many ways such as its forms,functions, and theory behind it.

The aspect that i interested about this toy the most is “Distorded reality!” I also looking into many similar objects that give the same senses. Explore both its physically and theory.

First, start with the toy that I created in phase 1 the main idea of this is about interchangeable lenses on the world.

These lenses can be moving around and also the sense of distorted reality.

Once you get inside it you will feel like you’re in another place within the city.

I did observe her movements, spaces, and the stairs that this activity always occupied which leads me to think and realize the true values of the stairs which can link people and places together.

Getting up the stairs in an unusual ways.

I decided to analyze my maid’s actions which are carrying a big tray of food up the stairs.

I was looking into the ideas of the handrails, weight shifting, and balance.

Due to these endlessly repeatable actions, it’s started to lead me to imagine into my maid personal lives The manifesto is the sum-up ideas of what I want to do in the next phase. The main focus is taking the lenses of my toy and imagining them as individual niches that could be linked together by a winding staircase.

3 The Secret hideaway!

I was imagining what the secret life of my maid might be and I imagine her as a writer so this capsule will be a hideaway that she can escape reality and get into different niches which provided different types of inspirations This capsule contains 5 series of niches and separated it into 3 different levels these niches are also the similarity with the characterization within the novels.

In conclusion, This is the space that fully gives my maid the ability to be completely outside her normal self which is an escape from reality and she can really be her own self and no one will be able to make a judgment towards her.

Come to phase 3 I start to think that it might have other people within the city facing the same situation as my maid which means their private life and their personal lives are completely in a different world which I called them “impossible users” such as sex workers, entertainers, and mafia.

I decided to create one for them as well and also, led me to think about what would be the interaction between those capsules?

I found out that strangers are easily talking to each other than family and friends because they don’t have to reveal their identity so they can comfortably speak it all out about their private life matters or anger in their life without worries of leaking information and judgment from the society. I decided to go next with this idea which come out as a “ confessional space.

“ Space of connection between the strangers “

The confessional space is located in the center between 2 capsules made from translucent glass because I don’t want them to see each other faces but their silhouette instead. They can speak openly to each other even you can not see the person on the other side but you will be able to see that another person is actually there listening to you.

In each side of the box has swinging chairs which can be rotating 90degress so it wouldn’t be too fixed. Before getting into the confessional box it has some distance from the capsule to the confessional space. The reason behind it is I want to give them time to be able to prepare themselves before the session.

It’s is the combination between the 1st capsule which existed for my maids as a novelist. The characterizations in the novel are associated with the niches. The second capsule is created for different types of people to come and use the space. they will be able to see diffrent perspetive of the city in which they work but be able to get detached themselves from it.tions it’s start to leading me to imagining
