Meet the owner
Auburn alumni, David Bancroft, opened Acre with one thing in mind: Provide Auburn with a unique dining experience. After spending six years as the executive chef at another local restaurant, Bancroft purchased an acre of land to begin building his own restaurant. His vision with Acre is to give back to the community by supporting local farms. In addition, he grows his own fruits and vegetables on the restaurant’s property. Bancroft is the current executive chef at Acre.
