Academic Individual Project 22.05.2020

The aim of the project is to introduce to the specific tools of architectural communication, facade, and mass formation, as an abstract representation of thoughts. Has to be taught how to fit into the environment, choose materials, and use materials. The task should be formulated in a building that is responsive to, connected to, and living in the environment.

The main idea of choosing the idea of a music school, is that the region does not contain a music school, and all residents located nearby, they must go to the city center to obtain activities such as this.

At the beginning of thinking about building design, I thought about making something simple and regular since the music mainly depends on simplicity, regularity and rhythm

The cube in its simple form is considered one of the most powerful and simple geometric shapes, and one of the most possible forms that can be derived from other forms

Then a certain shape of the cube was cropped. This figure is inspired by the body of a dancer. Since dancing is an art that shares many things with music

Subtracting what was done in the cube, creating an outdoor space that can be used as seating areas and as apreliminary axis or the entrance to the building.

In the side façades, the pattern is designed in the form of many details, to break the noticeably spreading concrete routine.

The pattern is made of fiberglass reinforced concrete(GRC) . In the middle section of the building (the subtracted part) we can see curtain wall.

Beginning of thinking in the form of a minus in the form of a basic cube, and the way to create an internal void

Current forecasts by futurologists predict that two-thirds of the world's population will live in cities in the year 2050. The city of the future needs sustainable concepts for energy, mobility, infrastructure, and employment; it will be smart and green. The concept of sustainability will present itself as a unit of technical solutions (smart, Intelligent), ecological thinking, and an increased social component of acceptance and solidarity in society. The city as a "refuge" and a source of hope for secure employment (rural depopulation) seem to be becoming increasingly shaky. In addition to job guarantees from external companies, creative skills will in future be more important than ever for a self-determined economic future, either individually or as a part of a community, which promises financial support and contributes to maintaining self-esteem and one's own identity.

The effects of the "crisis" in the last 10 years are anticipating something that is likely to take the form of significant reductions in working hours as production in the western world becomes increasingly digitalized, robotized, and automated. In a 20-hour workweek in the formal sector, which is not entirely uncommon in the medium term, this means not only a financial loss but for many people the loss meaning for their own life, namely to define themselves through commercial work in their own self-esteem, is largely lost. Residents of cities with their previous industrial and service orientation will be particularly affected by the meaning crisis of this kind.

Such a development will also lead to a subsistence-oriented local economy of short distances with varied and self-determined employment opportunities in the sense of innovative micro-economies (SUB-ECO), and the field of "urban gardening" seems to be attractive and promising for many people in general, but especially as a possible field of activity in the sense of a subsistence economy in contrast to a commercial economy. With the "crisis", an intensified convergence and coming-closer in Greek society can also be observed beyond one's own families, and especially on the object level of "gardening", in my opinion, a development is emerging that could be called "social inclusion". In the garden, forces of social mobilization develop, which leads to the formation of new social communities and neighborhoods through working and being together - "urban gardening" is to be understood as a social resource, as "Sozialer Kitt" ("social cement"). A starter of a series of workshops will take place in Budapest/Hungary.

The focus of the intended "Design Laboratory: CITY 4. 0 - SMART, GREEN + SUB-ECO" in the inner-city context will be on the question of an innovative urban development typology that can take account of the concept of sustainability described above and counteracts the development of parallel societies. It will be all about that: what the structure and face of such an innovative urban area looks like in itself, which also enables elements of the subsistence economy, especially in the focus of urban gardening and micro-farming; how it can be integrated into the context of the surrounding area in terms of construction, space, and social harmony3;

Uses: (housing permanent; / housing temporarily (in different forms of variety); / urban gardening, for private purposes; / urban gardening with public accessibility; / urban agriculture, land for cultivation (cooperatives, etc.); / market with green commodities, marketable items like vegetables, fruits, etc.; open space, covered Uses space, storage also in wintertime; /open uses to invent by yourself, private or public, also in form of buildings and lots.

This project was designed in the process of helping the elderly of Potter best city to come together and communicate with other generations

We have considered several options and as alternatives for configuring the project's function. the first step was observing things and services surrounding the project site and we found several points: and an adequate number of common functions such as: Bars/Hospitals/Markets/restaurants.

There are many homeless people as groups near the site. that area is closed to a major Street, so we decided to choose a function, different from these functions and there were several alternatives related to Student/Homeless/Elderly

community spaces plays an important role in the success of a city and its inhabitants. They become the faundation to which those living and visitng in the area come together and communicate, they offer opportunities to embrace the history using this common band. This bring focus to ebracing the traditions and the history to a city andls becoming a center for tourists, so newers generation can stay.conected to there roots
