Aquamen Look Good The 1993-94 Swimming and Diving Team was one that had a season of outstanding personal accormplishments for a squad so small in numbers. The "Aqua" Crusaders were 1 and 4 in dual meets, but they managed' respectable finishes in invitationals and in tournament competition. Led by coaches Jon Borman, Lynn Jenkins, and Joyce Nordeman, the swimmers and divers placed 4th of 7 teams in the G.C.:L., improved to 3rd of 16 in the Cincinnati Sectional, and were an above-average 111h of 32 in the South-
west District. Three new school records were set this season: Jeff Parker had a 1. 59.62 in the 200-yard I. M.; Jeff also posted a 1.00.26 in the 100yard breaststroke; and the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Dave Mulshine, Matt Mangano, Mike Steltenpohl, and Jeff Parker finished with a cumulative 1.30.39 in their event. Jeff Parker qualified for the State in both his record-setting events, while Matt Mangano qualified for State in the 200-yard freestyle.
