About Me
Being brought up by a warm neighbourhood, I believe that spaces have the ability to influence, enhance or corrupt the mood of anyone who lives in it. Architecture could bring humankind together through diversity, relationships and love. I am Moe Htet Tun, an artist, a designer and a human.
Victorian Era: The Climax of Burma Architecture
Location: Strand Road, Yangon, Myanmar
Inspired by London’s age of confidence and flair, the cathedral depicts the high quality architecture of old times. Such aura couldn’t be found elsewhere neither could be duplicated.

A little crystal fallen from the sky to the ground. Yet it stood still, tight and strong.
Ever enjoyed coffee and banana together? For me, it is a representation of our lives. If we focus on coffee, life is definitely bitter. Somehow, we’ll learn
Here are my life drawings and paintings Enjoy!

When I was young, messing around my grandma was part of my daily routine. Nowadays, I find everything I need through a needle and some fabric; peace, calmness, and growth.
A timeless representation of an individual’s sadness, mental illness and fear through pencil. A drawing expressing different meanings for each viewer who encounters it. Some are done, some yet to come.
Creating the illusion of space in a flat image, one point perspective represents a simple but functional illustration. By converging lines at a single vanishing point, viewers could experience a sense of symmetry and depth while looking directly at the vanishing point.

Representing a more complex illusion of depth than a one-point perspective, two-point perspectives are used to depict objects viewed from a corner. The following depicts the metropolitan culture of a highly demanding and populated society with less air to breathe.

Multiple-point perspective, on the other hand, is a technique that use more than two vanishing points to portray space in a more complicated manner.
Stairs are examples of highs and lows, comprising steps providing a meaning of ascent or descent between structures. Stair designs can range from simple and plain to very ornamental, with elaborate detailing and one-of-a-kind materials.
Crafts ranging from cute models to 1:1 ratio models have been part of childhood Such projects include homes, objects from the latest blockbusters, or even a substitute for kitchenware. I would take anything I could get and create something out of it An excellent work would be functional as intended, robust, and better than the original There, of course, are multiple setbacks and failures, but don’t we heal and form scars from wounds?
The manipulation of light and shadow creates visual appeal and aura in a building or space, often used by architects and designers to guide the eye. Light exhibits highlighting important features, assembling spaciousness, while darkness depicts intimacy and drama through deep shadiness and the unknown.
Residential Architecture

It has always been a dream for me to have a home to live and thrive in. An ideal home would not be something with luxurious chandeliers, the latest technology or the finest marble doors. Any place that unites families, friends and feelings is a home. Mine was similar. The initiation was quite delayed due to the pandemic, although we did a great job with everything that we intended
Additional features
Compose most parts of the house's walls with glass reflecting sunlight and capable of handling extreme heat or coldness.
Ideation
A 3-story home with all basic facilities capable of withholding minimal effects related to the climate.
Intended for a family of eight whose usages would be both leisure and family-friendly.
Built on 30'*80' land, it must be costeffective and functional.
Landscaping views.
To be able to create and design a home that we wouldn't want to leave
Since my family loves cooking, the kitchen must comprise an exhaust blower, an oven, a gas stove for a wok, several kitchen utensils, a shelf for herbs and spices, and a table for our family and guests too. A wine cellar isn't included now, it's already on my bucket list.
For healthcare purposes, an indoor pool and a gym will be added with enough sunlight exposure so anyone can get a tan and exercise. Master bedrooms with facilities individually are a thing since the pandemic.
Ground Floor
Weaknesses
The design is simple and symmetric Too much glass has downgraded the building's strength and exponentially increased the price. In a tropical climate, such walls allowing sun rays directly into the house is a red flag. The kitchen's area

Stairs Extra
To be able to rise with dawn, bedrooms are placed in the east with an additional space of 120 sqft for multi-purpose uses.
Balcony
With the help of my amazing mom and the fantastic architects from the company, the ideation came to life. Along with an estimated cost of £90,000, and a duration of one year, the home is ought to be completed by 2023, November. Such experience gave me the light to pursue it as a career and form other people's dreams into reality.

Me
Films and music have always been part of my life. No matter where I am, high or low, they are always with me. Normally, with a couple of friends, I would create 30minute to one-hour-long audio-only stories at my little home studio with minimal types of equipment such as a proper condenser microphone, some headphones and a laptop. Such feeling can never be duplicated.
Note: Due to copyright infringements and lack of necessary budget and support, I have never produced commercially but only for editorial purposes. Probably I might have a chance to lit my hobbies into reality either.
Photography always has been a cutting-edge art. Rather than highlighting all the good things life gives us, we ought to embrace hardship, which is my favourite theme.
Gymnastics
The gym has always been where I break limits, build confidence and sustain strength since 2019. Those push-ups and pull-ups always had my back when no one else had.
Food
Having a passion for every creative aspect possible, experimenting with recipes and flavors is a form of artistic expression, allowing anyone to experience such imagination.
Being born from an architect mother and an engineer father, I was composed non-other than blocks and crafts. From the earliest ages, I have been doing crafts from home models to design ideas, but I have yet to have a chance to make things into reality. The moment that sparked the light inside was to realize how homes are being considered. Usually, we might say a home should have a garage, a kitchen, a dining set, and a television, but at the end of the day, no matter how much net worth it is, a home is a place where the loved ones are together. It is more than beauty and wealth; a combination of art, history, and emotions that depict how a person acts and behaves. The willingness to become someone who can do that has accelerated since then.
Architecture is a blend of science, arts, and space. It allows enthusiasts to interpret their ideas into reality, allowing individuals to think, create and solve, constantly evolving. It is teamwork with engineers of different subjects; it opens doors to skills valuable in any industry, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, analyzing, and interpreting solutions from complex problems. These days’ demands are upon the innovative and creative individuals who can solve the world’s problems through diversity and perseverance and leave a better footprint. Having several artworks crafted from hours to months with zero budget during my leisure time, I enjoyed it. As someone living in an apartment, it is essential to use every space. I am willing to extend my ambitions with formal education. Burma desperately needs skilled labor, specifically those with innovative and creative minds who could shape the future. Underestimating the power of design, people resist the temptation to invest in something they will spend a third of their lives 24/7; filling in the architecture sector would positively improve and possibly change how people view architecture.
Having spent leisure time on productivity, design, and art, I have attended multiple arts and design classes and music production, video production, photography, and filmmaking through various platforms such as Skillshare, trying to explore how the world works and what we have inside. Having access to knowledgeable sources, I began to explore how much value they could add to life; money, time, flexibility, and productivity. With digital literacy, although I am not a professional, the skills I have learned so far would be entertaining, artistic, and beneficial now or then; editing photos and videos, creating spaces and renovating out of nothing, designing graphics, journalism, healthcare, and producing music and film. During the pandemic and the political crisis, I have been working on developing skills, utilizing them in various volunteer organizations ranging from tens to thousands of people across Burma. Along with people from different areas of studies, culture, backgrounds, and ethics, I saw how desperate the world is for development and sustainability. Being able to savor the moment and be impactful in a way that contributes to the community was a fantastic opportunity. Moreover, it helped in unfolding many truths about life.

Burma has its cultural heritage and fascinating architectural buildings and monuments buried through the farthest of jungles and mountains. Being able to transform the mood of people through art and diversity could bring the world closer. It would be an honour to resurrect and fathom history through architecture and design.
