The EcoExplorers internship is a new program offered to high school learners interested in environmental sustainability and resilience.
The program combines MODS’ expertise in curriculum development and workforce readiness training. By taking part in the internship, learners will earn detailed, first-hand knowledge of the ecosystem. The paid internship consists of 40-hour summer field trips to the Everglades, training experiences and a workforce development program. During the school year, learners will work at MODS by delivering detailed Everglades knowledge to Museum guests through exhibit tours, special events and the STEMobile. Application required.
